Having everything I need to create lessons/slideshows for our kids in one place makes life a lot easier than if I were to have to manage 3 different file locations separately. **What do you dislike about Playlister?** I like that you can organize the playlists into folders for organization. However, when you create a new playlist you have to click and drag it to where you want versus the playlist automatically being created in the folder you are in. **What problems is Playlister solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am new to my role in my church and I am trying to learn a lot of things all at once. No running USB sticks around or having to try to share huge video files through Google Drive! The options that Playlister offers allow me to use it not just in our various rooms and sites, but also to share whole services at home with our families, and even give my Praise Team dancers access to videos they can practice with and prepare for their turn to be on stage and serve! It's like ProPresenter that runs itself according to your programming, or you can control it remotely on an Apple TV. And everyone will have immediate access to Playlists you share on any device, so no more being stuck with a wrong-sized screen for your at-home viewers! **What do you dislike about Playlister?** The only drawback I have found with Playlister is that I wish it came with the ability to put a bunch of videos into a list, but that they could be accessed out of order from a kind of "main menu" like on a DVD. They do offer an option for that called "Video Hub," but it costs extra and is not included in the original Playlister subscription. It IS possible to access videos out of order on the Apple TVs, although the process is a bit clunky... but at-home viewers can currently only access video pieces in the order they are entered into the list. **Recommendations to others considering Playlister:** I highly recommend trying Playlister for at-home viewing use, especially for multi-site churches! **What problems is Playlister solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since Playlister requires a link for at-home viewers to access the material, it means you won't be violating any copyright laws by putting other people's content "out there" on YouTube or Facebook, or other social media sites that can create a whole lot of trouble for you and your church or business. It saves so much time week to week by saving the format of the playlist content and allowing it to be duplicated and edited rather than reinventing the wheel every time. Finally, a way to share all of the hard-to-share content at the press of a button. The versatility is endless and the customer service is amazing! I have found Playlister to be as helpful, time-saving, and impressive as Apple's AirDrop. ### 5. Once you have a folder set up, it is so easy to run our preschool program on Sunday morning! No worries about using the correct cables and having a computer attached to the television, just hold the Apple remote and go! **What do you dislike about Playlister?** I don't think the issue is Playlister, but more the Apple remote is very sensitive. Playlister makes it convenient to play the files. We are also able to store a playlist of songs to pull from in a quick way. Even though the slides follow the script, it would be nice if there was a way that they could see the slides beforehand. **Recommendations to others considering Playlister:** Our only issue doesn't have much to do with playlister itself. We plug all our cables into a sound board which then directs our images and sound to a TV and speakers. Switching from music on a streaming device such as Spotify and then switching back to playlister is not something that we figured out how to easily do on the same device **What problems is Playlister solving and how is that benefiting you?** In the past we have been using a laptop and creating a PowerPoint playlist and we use an HDMI cable to display our playlist on the tv. I have to create 16-25 playlist each month. That's a lot of media to sort through. Prebuilt playlists are nice but would be better to be able to setup custom prebuilt filter for each of those playlists. I would also like Preteen prebuilt playlists. Searching for each slide you need for each playlist, for each week is extremely time consuming. PLEASE keep in mind that many times, volunteers are puttting these together. If it's not simple and easy for them to do it, they won't. **What problems is Playlister solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not having to download and upload media every month to google drive, create ProPresenter files and service orders using iPads, computers, etc. It's much easier to manage media. ### 17. Menus tend to overlap features when accessed via mobile, making it difficult to use on the go. Also assisted during situations where myself and my wife were unavailable to teach, but because we could set up your sunday morning playlist remotely we were easily able to prepare our subs for service. ### 25. No more Propresenter sync issues and not more flash drives at the last minute. **What do you dislike about Playlister?** It is a little expensive to pay for each screen. However, it does work out over time once you factor in replacing a laptop every 4-5 years. the $200 per year per screen and a $150 Apple TV works out to be about the same with much less maintenance and headaches. It is hard to spill coffee on an Apple TV mounted behind the TV, unlike a laptop. **Recommendations to others considering Playlister:** Well worth making the switch. It took me about 6 hours to get five classrooms set up with the Apple TV's, the presentations for the next five weeks created and tested in each room, and three staff members trained. **What problems is Playlister solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are solving a content distribution problem. We were using ProPresenter on Apple MacBook Pro's with content being synced via Google Drive. However, the new Google Drive for Desktop doesn't play well with ProPresenter and was causing some significant problems. ### 26. The other options we've tried over the years were very finicky and mostly limited us to sending the same thing to all of our screens which doesn't work in a Church environment. I also love that anytime I have a question or need some assistance they always respond very quickly, even on a Saturday or Sunday. **What do you dislike about Playlister?** I can't say there is anything I don't like about Playlister. There are certainly some additional features that could be added that would make it even easier to use, but the great thing is that the team at Playlister is always looking for ways to improve. If I come up with a feature I'd like to have added, all I have to do is let them know and they quickly get their team working on it. If they can't pull off exactly what I'm looking for, they typically come close and either way, communicate with me to keep me updated on their progress. **Recommendations to others considering Playlister:** If you have been searching for a way to efficiently and cost-effectively distribute media content across your organization, Playlister is the solution for you! I strongly suggest you give them a try, even if you start with just a couple of screens first. We have been using Playlister since June of 2019, where we initially started with about three screens to try it out. Within two weeks of trying Playlister, we were so pleased we upgraded our plan and added another five screens. **What problems is Playlister solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a way to display the monthly theme, play some background music, and let each class know when it was time for them to head down the hall for their scheduled Large Group Worship time. Playlister has allowed us to do all of this and much more. We also use Playlister on three screens at our Believers Kids Guest Services desk. One screen displays room assignments and locations and a countdown letting parents know when we will open the doors for pick up. The second screen shows a looping video that allows our 1st-time guests to see what we do in our Kids Ministry. The third screen shows announcement slides for any Believers Kids events coming up. Recently we have even started using Playlister outside of our Believers Kids area. In our Commons space, we mounted two large vertical screens above our main Guest Services desk near the front entrance. Our media team creates slides specifically for these screens so that as soon as a first-time guest walks through our front doors, they are welcomed and know precisely where to go with any questions. Our facility is also an event center, Hub 757, so we rent space out for everything from weddings and concerts to business meetings. On multiple occasions, we have utilized Playlister as an added benefit for our clients. Sometimes we will display their logo on some of the screens along with directions to their meeting space; other times, we'll create a playlist of announcement slides they want looping during their event. ### 27.
