PiP IoT Reviews & Product Details

PiP IoT is a smart facilities management platform that combines robust IoT devices with real‑time data, APIs and dashboards to optimise how physical spaces are serviced and experienced. We are headquartered in New Zealand and operate across Australia and Europe. Our LevelSense™ waste‑bin monitoring devices use ultrasonic and infrared sensors to track fill levels in public bins, enabling contractors to dispatch trucks only when bins are nearing capacity. This reduces unnecessary route checks, lowers fuel and labour costs and helps cities cut CO₂ emissions. In Auckland, PiP IoT helped Ventia reduce route time by up to 50% and enabled potential fleet reductions. PeopleSense™ people‑traffic counters provide accurate indoor and outdoor visitor counts for restrooms, terminals, attractions, trails and retail environments. Facilities teams use this data to optimise cleaning schedules, minimise congestion, eliminate service penalties and quantify advertising impressions in high‑traffic locations. At Christchurch Airport, PiP IoT helped plan capital investment into toilet facility upgrades. PiP’s IoT Integration and API offering allows organisations to connect devices to existing operations platforms, or visualise data using PiP’s customisable dashboards. Customers can choose from flexible packages – Devices + API Access, Devices + Data Dashboard or Devices + Custom Integration – to match their technical capabilities and scale from pilots to large‑scale deployments. Key features: -NB-IOT network functionality -Waste‑bin level monitoring (LevelSense™) with real‑time alerts -People‑traffic counting (PeopleSense™) for indoor/outdoor facilities -Customisable dashboards for real‑time and historical analytics -API access and integrations with third‑party platforms -Flexible deployment packages (devices, data, integration services) -IP68‑rated hardware with multi‑year battery life
