"Global Clients, Flexible Projects, and Secure Payments on PeoplePerHour"
5/5
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

What I like most about PeoplePerHour is the opportunity to connect with clients from around the world and work on a wide variety of projects. The platform makes it easy to showcase skills, build long-term professional relationships, and help businesses achieve their goals through high-quality work. I also appreciate the secure payment system and the flexibility it provides for freelancers and clients alike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

One thing I dislike is the withdrawal waiting period after receiving payment. Having to wait around 15 days before accessing funds can be frustrating for freelancers. It would be great if PeoplePerHour could reduce this waiting period, as faster access to earnings would improve the overall experience for freelancers on the platform. "A Reliable Platform for Professional Freelancers"
5/5
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

What I like most about PeoplePerHour is the quality of the projects and the straightforward communication with clients. The platform makes it easy to submit proposals, discuss project details through WorkStream, and manage payments securely. I've also found that many clients provide clear briefs and are open to discussing the scope of work before a project begins, which helps establish realistic expectations and leads to smoother collaborations. What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

One area that could be improved is the way the platform handles freelancer location. My profile location changed automatically after travelling abroad, which affected how my profile was presented until it was corrected. It would be helpful if users could manage or confirm their working location more easily. Apart from that, my overall experience with the platform has been very positive. "Excellent for Lead Gen, Frustrating for Cash Flow"
4/5
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

PeoplePerHour is an excellent platform that consistently connects me with a wide range of international clients. It has been particularly effective for finding and assisting EU and UK businesses with their infrastructure and privacy compliance needs. The platform's interface is straightforward, making it easy to manage proposals, track ongoing projects, and maintain clear communication without unnecessary administrative overhead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

The biggest downside is the frustratingly slow payout system. There is a standard 14-day holding period for earnings, but instead of an automatic release, you are forced to manually request payments. From there, you have to wait another 24 to 48 hours at best just to see your money, which is incredibly slow and inconvenient for freelancers managing their cash flow. "High-Quality Clients and Straightforward Pitching on PeoplePerHour"
4/5
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

What I value most is the quality of the clients I connect with. PeoplePerHour tends to attract serious UK and European SMEs who know what they want, which usually leads to clearer project briefs and more longer-term relationships rather than just one-off jobs.

I also like how straightforward it is to pitch for projects that are a good fit. The proposal system lets me highlight the most relevant experience for each brief instead of competing purely on price, and that approach has worked well across the different niches I work in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

The withdrawal process takes longer than I’d like, and it can be frustrating waiting for the funds to actually clear after a project is finished. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Your Reliable Platform for Freelance Management"
4/5
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

I use PeoplePerHour.com to connect with clients, find freelance opportunities, and manage projects and payments securely online. What I like most about the platform is how easy it is to connect with clients, manage projects, and handle payments securely all in one place. It saves time and makes my freelance work much more organized. It also simplifies communication with clients, keeps projects easy to track, and gives me confidence that payments are handled professionally and securely. The initial setup was easy and quite straightforward, and creating a profile and sending proposals didn't take much time at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

The main drawback is the high competition and the occasional delays in support responses. They could improve freelancer visibility by better matching skills to projects and reducing low quality proposals. Faster support responses and more accessible help options will also improve the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Freelancers, Slow Payment Process"
4/5
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

I use PeoplePerHour.com as a freelance writer and editor, and it helps me find clients I wouldn't otherwise meet. I like the ease of navigation, which makes finding new projects and communication easy. It's both buyer and freelancer-friendly and treats both fairly. I appreciate that regardless of where you are located, you can bid for any project. The initial setup was probably the easiest when it came to linking a payment method and creating a profile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

Only one complaint. Freelancers wait 14+ days once a payment is made by the buyer. I wish they would reduce the duration between the day an invoice is paid and the day they release the funds to 7 days max. The waiting can be hard. Not 10 because of the payment duration (and I do wish there were more writing jobs). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about PeoplePerHour is how it connects freelancers with clients from around the world, which makes it easier to find projects that truly fit my skills and experience. The platform is simple and straightforward to use, and it offers a broad range of opportunities to choose from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

What I dislike is that some clients aren’t always serious or transparent, which can still end up wasting a freelancer’s time at times, even with the platform’s safeguards in place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic for Connecting with Serious UK & European Clients in PR and Media"
5/5
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

As a PR specialist and freelance journalist, finding clients who value high-quality editorial work and media strategy can be a challenge on generalized platforms. PeoplePerHour stands out because it attracts serious businesses—particularly UK and European SMEs—that have clear project briefs and realistic budgets for professional communication.

The proposal system is highly intuitive, allowing me to tailor my pitches to showcase relevant portfolio pieces and past media coverage rather than just competing on price. I also highly appreciate the secure escrow system; it gives me peace of mind knowing that my work is financially protected before I begin writing or executing a PR campaign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

The main drawback is the 14-day clearance holding period for funds, which can be frustrating for managing freelance cash flow, especially on quick-turnaround media projects.

Additionally, because the platform is so popular, writing and content niches can experience high competition very quickly. It would be beneficial if the platform introduced a better filtering or cool-down mechanism to prevent jobs from being flooded with rapid, low-quality proposals before expert freelancers even get a chance to see the brief. "Reliable platform for finding freelance work securely"
4.5/5
What do you like best about PeoplePerHour.com?

What I like best about PeoplePerHour.com is its easy-to-use interface and all-in-one workflow. I can quickly find jobs, send proposals, communicate with clients, and manage payments securely through escrow. It saves time, runs smoothly, and helps me build long-term client relationships while earning consistently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PeoplePerHour.com?

One downside of PeoplePerHour.com is the limited number of proposal credits, which can make it difficult to apply for multiple jobs, especially for new freelancers. The competition is also quite high, so it’s not always easy to stand out.

Additionally, the platform fees can feel a bit high on smaller projects, reducing overall earnings. The job matching system could be improved with better AI recommendations to show more relevant opportunities.

It also has limited file uploading. Uploading a file larger than 1 MB fails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
