"Responsive Interactive Whiteboard That Keeps Lessons Organized"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pencil Spaces?

I started using Pencil Spaces because I wanted one place where live lessons, notes, and collaboration could happen without switching between different tools. The interactive whiteboard feels responsive, and it's convenient that students can work on the same board during a session. Having resources, discussions, and activities together helps lessons stay organized and reduces interruptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pencil Spaces?

The platform includes many useful features, but it can feel a little overwhelming when you're setting up a new workspace for the first time. Finding some tools takes a bit of exploration, so a simpler onboarding experience or better organization of the menus would make it easier for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transforms Tutoring by Making Student Thinking Visible"
5/5
What do you like best about Pencil Spaces?

What I like best about Pencil Spaces is how it makes student thinking visible. Instead of just seeing a final answer, I can see how students are reasoning, where they’re getting stuck, and how their ideas are developing. That changes how I support them as a tutor and leads to much more meaningful learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pencil Spaces?

I honestly haven’t had any major dislikes using Pencil Spaces. If anything, I’m always thinking about how small features or added structure could make it even easier for younger students to organize their work as they’re learning new concepts. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best AI powered online learning platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Pencil Spaces?

The whiteboard is smooth to use and offers the helpful feature of creating separate folders, making it easy to organize content. The video call function is integrated seamlessly with the whiteboard and works without glitches. I also appreciate the distraction alert and the AI coaching dashboard. Sparky, the AI helper available during class, is especially useful for tasks like creating a new board, muting or unmuting students, and inserting a timer, among other functions. "Engaging and Customizable, But Needs Smoother Setup"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pencil Spaces?

I love how interactive it is for our tutors and students! I taught remotely during the pandemic and it was really challenging to keep my 5 year old students engaged through Zoom. Pencil Spaces would have been a game changer for participation and engagement. I also love that we have been able to customize it to display our curriculum so we can stay consistent as an organization for in person and remote tutors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pencil Spaces?

It is not always the most user friendly especially when building a space from scratch. It can be really time consuming to build the way that it is now. There are quite a few tweaks I would love to see in place to make it more user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pencil Spaces?

There's not much I don't like, just a few things that are designed in an american way when we would call them other things in the UK. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

New boards and spaces to organise content and students (into groups) makes for a fluid experience that maximises efficacy and productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for teaching and learning"
5/5
What do you like best about Pencil Spaces?

If you enjoy Figjam, Miro among other collaborative tools, you will find Pencil Spaces immediately familiar. There are additional teaching and learning tools like wolfram alpha, PhET simulations, LMS (Google classroom canvas) that you can bring straight into Pencil. Low latency for writing and calls, good learner engagement analytics out of the box! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pencil Spaces?

Richness of tools can be overwhelming but likely a UI issue for organising apps in the sidebar that will be fixed in the long run Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
