It is easy to develop services in Oracle Fusion Middleware and has many features for different integration types. What do you dislike about Oracle Fusion Middleware? Oracle Fusion middleware is a little bulky, and as this has been built merging different products acquired by Oracle, not everything works seamlessly like there is a disconnect between BPEL and OSB. Also, there is a lot of learning if you want to use all components of OFM for a solution. There are some challenges when large size payload need to be processed as it natively work on xml, processing/transformation could be slow and prone to issues. We using OFM for integration between our core applications which are both COTS and custom builds and using different integration methods but mostly it is SOAP, REST and DB integrations. Since the suite comes with many tools initial setup is little bit complex, yes they have best in class customer support and there are communities and documents but still if you mess up one step in the configuration debugging the issue is not so easy.
