"Reliable and Secure, But Challenging for Beginners"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Oracle Database?

I use Oracle Database to store and manage data for my applications, as it helps keep the data oriented. I like that it's reliable when dealing with large datasets. The data stored is very secure and Oracle Database has strong features to analyze and manage data. It helps keep my data organized, reduces manual workload, and is easy to make changes. I also find that, with the right steps, the initial setup is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Database?

Maybe sometimes for beginners it's not very easy to understand, it's expensive too, and performance tuning takes time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best System Ever: Easy Dashboard, Smooth Oracle Transition, Responsive Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Oracle Database?

Very easy to use- as a layman on the software I grasped the basic concepts and could navigate through the dashboard easily without any formal training.

I used it frequently as during my audit procedures for a US client. I had the access to the client's profile. At times in case we faced any issues we contacted the customer support through email or submitted a request and received response usually within 24 hours.

The client during 2020 transitioned from Netsuite to Oracle and the implementation process was very smooth and easy.

Further, the application could be easily integrated to other softwares used by the company- such as leasequery and could be assessed through Oracle. Overall, in my opinion it was the best system ever used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Database?

I personally faced issues with report generation—it felt a bit complicated and tedious to figure out which report is meant for which purpose and what results each one will produce.

Similarly the journal entry recording process is a bit tidious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Integration and Cost Savings with Robust Security"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Oracle Database?

This product helps lower operational costs and utilizes a single database to manage all types of data. It ensures a secure hybrid cloud environment and delivers improved identity management along with enhanced user controls. Backup and recovery processes are fast, and the system supports multiple databases. Scalability is excellent, and the inclusion of Flashback technology adds further value.

Very easy to use and integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Database?

I can't speak for everyone, but in my experience, Oracle's software is generally quite reliable. The design and engineering behind their RDBMS, Grid, and RAC systems are so well-crafted that I find them genuinely impressive. While the execution is typically solid, there have been some significant missteps in the past.

On the other hand, Oracle as a corporation is about as profit-driven as they come, and their support desk has never been the same since the acquisition of Sun Microsystems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
