"Quick Lift and Transform of PeopleSoft to OCI"

Oracle Consulting helped us move our PeopleSoft and OBIEE products from a vendor hosted solution to an in-house supported and cloud infrastructure hosted platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Oracle consulting was able to quickly adapt to the changing landscape of our request. We went from a simple lift-and-shift to a transformation. We implemented Palo Alto firewalls in the cloud, real-time DR, high availability, cloud Exadata, and PeopleSoft Cloud Manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The biggest issue we had was getting the right people when requirements changed. The consulting team helped find the experts we needed to be successful. Integrating our highly-skilled team with theirs took a little longer than expected, but all team formations take time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the provider:

Be transparent in your needs and end goals. Plan for the unexpected. Oracle Consulting is a new brand of service that is much different than some of the legacy Oracle Consulting of the past. It can truly be a partnership with fantastic results. Make sure you are engaged in every step of the process. What problems are you solving with the provider? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a partner that fully understood Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and our on-premise applications. They partnered well with us and found innovative solutions to the challenges we faced.
