"Nice dashboard; needs work on roll-up / drill-down stats"
4/5
What do you like best about Nucleus?

I like a dashboard with a single view of my security scans so I can prioritize them correctly. The number of acceptable sources of data is sufficient as well. The way it is represented makes sense Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

When I click to drill down to a specific metric, the data does not always match. It might be the problem with data setup, but instinctively when you drill down / roll up, the data should match Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Vulnerability Management Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Nucleus?

I loved the idea of ingesting multiple vulnerability sources and asset management data into one place and then managing assignments via ticketing workflow and automation. I feel like this solution works perfectly with other security products following the loosely coupled, tightly integrated approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

The user interface was a bit clunky at times. I feel like a native html/js/css approach would work better. We also used a ticketing system that wasn't supported by Nucleus directly so I had to make adaptations by using email and webhooks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

user friendly dashboard & easy way to schedule a report run Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

it would be better if Nucleus can allow customized 'product' selected and scheudled into a periodic report. Don't know how the risk point(score) been calculated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ahead of the curve, unique, and unfortunately, very unreliable."
2.5/5
What do you like best about Nucleus?

Nucleus fills a role that we were specifically looking to fill: it factors asset criticality and compliance scope into risk scoring, and it does it in a way that's scalable, because it can be accomplished via automation, bulk actions, or API.

More of our clients have decided to use Nucleus for this feature than anything else the tool does. It ensures people are spending time where it matters, and coming from someone who has POC'd almost every similar tool in this space, I'm confident Nucleus is the only tool that's doing it well.

The team behind the tool is friendly, knowledgable, and helpful; I've enjoyed nearly every interaction I've had with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

It's in the title. The product is unreliable.

The platform is buggy, and in the opinion of most of the people I work with that use Nucleus regularly, this has gotten worse over time, not better. The new features are nice, but a working product is nicer. For that matter, reporting has been given no attention at all so far as I've seen. At present, I think most of the reports Nucleus produces range from poor to unusable. I wish less attention was paid to visual improvements and feature enhancements over the last year, and more attention was paid to stabilizing the foundational aspects of the tool, because those are the aspects that made us decide to use it in the first place.

Ambitious goals are hindered by a team that's too deep in the trenches to follow through on commitments, and too focused on improvement to stabilize the foundational aspects of the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Adam Dudley of Nucleus

Thank you for your honest review. As a customer and product-focused company, delivering a high-quality user experience is of the utmost importance to us. While we appreciate the acknowledgment of your positive interactions with our team, we regret that your experience with the platform has been less than excellent.

Rest assured, we are acutely aware of the issues you've encountered and have been taking action in recent months to address them. For example, in addition to our product team being laser-focused on delivering stable, performant software, last year we doubled the size of our software and support engineering teams and are likely to triple them this year.

We want you to know that we take your comments very seriously and that everyone on the team here is committed to building the best product and making you and all our customers successful. Our customer success team will continue working with you to ensure we understand the challenges and come to an agreement on solutions.

"Nucleus review"
5/5
What do you like best about Nucleus?

The navigation is super easy and intuitive! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

The ability to export. It doesn't seem to work every time. For big teams with lots of apps, it would be good to be able to pull the list into Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Nucleus for last one year in my company and it has a lot of capability by reporting the reports of different tools. "Great product, great team - so far so good"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Nucleus?

Very strong suite of integrations, strong pre-sales during product selection phase. We haven't had the tool for long but our experience so far has been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nucleus?

Some minor bugs which we have uncovered after going live which their engineering team are working on. Licensing is a bit confusing when it comes to cloud assets but they are planning to simplify this in future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
