Name: Novus CPQ Consulting
Rating: 4.7 (5 reviews)

Novus CPQ Consulting, Inc. is the trusted independent authority in the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) market. Since our founding in 2015, we have specialized in helping companies of all sizes — from mid-market manufacturers to global enterprises — evaluate, select, and maximize value from CPQ solutions. Our mission is to simplify complex buying decisions, accelerate digital transformation, and provide unbiased insights into one of the most critical areas of modern sales technology. With 25+ years of combined CPQ experience across business and IT roles, Novus CPQ brings both strategic expertise and hands-on implementation knowledge. We deliver value through three core offerings: CPQ Sales Reports – In-depth, vendor-neutral research reports that highlight the strengths, benefits, and considerations of leading CPQ solutions. Unlike traditional analyst reports, Novus CPQ Sales Reports are practical, concise, and tailored for decision-makers who need clarity fast. CPQ Briefing Subscription – An annual subscription that provides ongoing access to a growing library of analyst briefing documents covering CPQ vendors and adjacent solutions. Subscribers gain vendor-by-vendor insights on capabilities, benefits, and limitations, helping them stay ahead of the rapidly evolving CPQ landscape. CPQ Circle – A community-driven subscription offering exclusive newsletters, market updates, and early access to industry perspectives. This service supports CPQ customers, system integrators, and vendors who want to stay informed on trends, innovations, and best practices. Beyond reports and subscriptions, Novus CPQ is also the producer of the CPQ Podcast — the longest-running and most widely recognized podcast dedicated to CPQ and quote-to-cash topics, with over 370+ episodes featuring vendors, customers, and thought leaders. We also share insights on YouTube, LinkedIn, and other free channels to foster transparency and education in the CPQ market. Novus CPQ stands out for its independence and neutrality. We do not take financial stakes in vendor recommendations. Our focus is on fact-based analysis, customer feedback, and practical guidance — not marketing spin. This ensures our clients and readers receive objective insights they can trust when evaluating solutions such as Salesforce Revenue Cloud, DealHub, PROS Smart CPQ, Configit, Hive CPQ, and many others. By combining unbiased research, field-tested expertise, and global market coverage, Novus CPQ has become the go-to source for organizations seeking clarity in their CPQ journey. Whether you are evaluating your first CPQ platform, upgrading an existing solution, or exploring add-on capabilities like visualization, AI, or billing integrations, Novus CPQ provides the resources you need to make informed, confident decisions.

"Trustworth, unbiased, knowledgable CPQ advice"

5/5

What do you like best about Novus CPQ Consulting?

I have turned to Novus CPQ and Frank Sohn intermittently for advice and information in the CPQ space for almost ten years now. I have always found the advice well considered and focused on my company's specific needs, rather than general CPQ advice. Due to the nature of the CPQ space, it is extremely hard to find someone who is not biased or incentivized in favor of certain vendors; Frank is the rare analyst and consultant that can be counted on for unbiased advice. His industry knowledge is exceptional and he seems to know everyone and everything happening in the CPQ space. I also greatly appreciate the Novus CPQ podcast, which acts as a great resource both for people interested in the CPQ industry and also for people wanting to learn more about how to evaluate vendors or avoid common CPQ implementation mistakes. What do you dislike about Novus CPQ Consulting?
