You also get automatic connection, something great for dismissed users who frequent unsecured hotspots. In general, Norton Wifi Privacy makes sure to offer a good experience to its users with intuitive clients and some very useful features. **What do you dislike about Norton VPN?** Attendance is good in theory, but it suffers from a very common problem among products that are part of a large list. There is chat 24/7 - points in favor. However, responses usually take time and lack depth, that is, the customer service team is somewhat incompetent as regards issues related to the VPN is concerned. Great connection speeds when near a VPN hub, and not horrible speeds when further away. Definitely superior to many options out there from companies that have similar platforms and software to do business safely overseas or at home. **What do you dislike about Norton VPN?** This mobile-capable VPN has a lack of selection when it comes to access points. It does do what it states, but it has little functionality which you would think makes it user-friendly, but in my opinion hinders it's full potential as a world-wide business tool. A large caveat is the pricing, which compared to other secure VPNs in the field for multiple devices is pretty expensive. For a single device like a laptop, it's not bad, but for a laptop, phone, tablet and desktop work computer, it's pricey for it's lack of options. For that reason I now use another company's product. **Recommendations to others considering Norton VPN:** I'd recommend looking at the pros and the cons of this program compared to others in the same field offered by large companies like Kaspersky, Avast, ExpressVPN, and the other business/private security based VPNs that are now coming on the market. VPNs, for both business and private individual use, are the future, and many new offerings are making their way into the field. **What problems is Norton VPN solving and how is that benefiting you?** Norton Secure VPN was one of the newer entries into the VPN field. A lot of other companies were opting the create, advertise and demonstrate their security-based VPNs and Norton has always been one of the most user-friendly if not game changing companies out there when it came to anti-virus protection and some of their other products built for companies small and large, local and global. The first time I used the software it was during a trip outside the United States to the Caribbean. For obvious reasons I left it on at all times, and was surprised to learn that many websites and streaming services blocked by other VPN software (some secure, some not solely focused on security like ProtonVPN which I used at home) were available, such as Netflix and a few others I'd not even thought of trying due to past experience. Our business is solving a lot of issues using Norton's software because before we were using multiple secure VPNs from differing companies because each individual had a preference from past experience. However, after trying Norton for a few days many fell in love. I was still on the fence and I'll get into that later down the line. For one, it's pretty inexpensive for a smaller business like ours, but for larger companies to say that it is expensive would be an understatement. Benefit wise, for a laptop, tablet, cellphone and desktop, it's fantastic for it's protective qualities and available locations the closer to the U.S. and Western Europe you are. We've all now switched to using it but a handful are still resistant, as we don't force our staff to use a specific VPN if it's against their expressed wishes. The software also claims to not log anything, but that isn't clear as one of my colleagues pointed out in the fine print that some data is collected for the purposes or Norton ### 10. I am constantly asked to renew or reup the subscription and it is always way before I am actually due to have it expire.
