## About Neurocad
Neurocad is an engineering infrastructure platform that sits between unstructured engineering documentation and native CAD and EDA execution. Neurocad converts unstructured engineering documentation, including component datasheets, PDF drawings, reference designs, images, and BOMs into native, parametric, design-ready assets delivered directly into professional CAD and EDA tools. It sits between the documentation engineers work from and the tools they design in, eliminating the manual data reconstruction that occurs at every tool boundary in a hardware development workflow. Neurocad is used by: - electrical engineers - PCB designers - mechanical engineers - engineering managers The engineers that work in multi-tool ECAD and MCAD environments. Primary use cases include: - PCB library generation - schematic symbol - footprint creation from datasheets - circuit artifact editing - ECAD-to-MCAD asset propagation - BOM-driven library automation. The platform is vendor-agnostic and connects to: - Altium Designer - Cadence (OrCAD/Allegro) - KiCad - SolidWorks - Autodesk Fusion 360 - Autodesk Inventor - Other adjacent engineering environments. Neurocad uses a combination of machine learning, computer vision, and a deterministic parametric modeling kernel to extract engineering intent from source documentation, resolve ambiguous or incomplete dimensions through ratiometric inference, and compile IPC-compliant outputs without intermediate file formats, post-processing, or manual cleanup. Before any asset is committed to a tool, engineers can inspect and refine it in Edit — an artifact canvas for adjusting pins, pad placement, and parameter mappings on circuits, footprints, and symbols. The engineer maintains full control over the output before it enters the design environment. Key capabilities: Neurocad compiles native schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and parametric circuit artifacts from datasheets, PDFs, and component images, delivered directly to connected CAD and EDA environments via Neurocad Link and Neurocad's recipe nodes. The Edit canvas allows engineers to inspect and adjust pins, pad geometry, and parameter mappings on generated artifacts such as circuits, footprints, and symbols before committing any asset to an EDA tool. Applies organization-specific library standards, layer conventions, naming conventions, property sets, and pad geometry templates to every generation, in a defined once, applied consistently across all outputs philosophy. Neurocad supports recipe-based workflow automation triggered by Slack messages, GitHub commits, webhooks, or scheduled runs, enabling continuous library generation without manual intervention. Neurocad supports multi-tool outputs from a single source: one datasheet or BOM can compile native assets simultaneously for Altium, KiCad, Cadence, SolidWorks, and other connected environments. Neurocad is currently available through an Early Access Program for engineering teams working in multi-tool ECAD and MCAD environments. It is built by engineers previously at Accel EDA, Altium, Autodesk, Meta, Microsoft, HP, and Siemens.
