## About Netwrix Identity Manager
Netwrix Identity Manager is an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solution that automates the identity lifecycle — joiner, mover, leaver — for employees, contractors, service accounts, and non-human identities including AI agents. It assigns and provisions access using a role- and policy-based model with ML-based role mining, enforces segregation of duties, and flags excessive access and dormant accounts before they become a risk. Employees request access through self-service workflows instead of IT tickets, and business owners run certification campaigns with automated remediation. A configuration-first approach replaces heavy custom coding, and the same codebase runs as SaaS or on-premises, so organizations can switch between them without reimplementation.
