What do you like best?

Depending on model, Netgear smart managed/fully managed switches can be a bargain. They're generally 3/4 to 1/2 the price of comparable Ciscos. Lifetime Warranty with next business day replacement at this price point is impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Management interface is painful to use. If you have trouble, be prepared to visit the community forums because it's usually quicker to get user to user help than from Netgear. About that lifetime warranty -- they do honor it, but it's a bit of a crutch since support isn't great, instead of being able to work out an issue with support, you end up RMAing a device, which may or may not be the fix for your issue. Lastly, I have never had switches with more dead ports than GS724T switches (thankfully, not too many of those in use at client sites anymore). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would recommend Cisco SG series switches any day over Netgear ProSafe equipment, but if price is paramount, would go with ProSafe switches before going with dumb switches to save a buck. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

As mentioned above, problems with the management interface, support, and reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All product-related firmware and documentation like manual and every drive present in the download page of the product. Netgear Comunity has a private bug bounty program also which help Netgear to fixes and find the security loopholes in products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
