It provides plenty of functionalities which makes it all too easy to cope with the servers behind Elastic Load Balancers & Network Load Balancers. We can also work with server templates which offer great flexibility & convenience for our production movement activities. **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** While operating with a large chunk of server deployments, we face a few issues. Mostly they are simple to resolve from our end and in case it its a high priority issue, then we connect with Morpheus Customer Support Team who resolve our production issue at minimal time. Recently we had a problem with cloud sync and its support team updated the database schema which effectively resolved the problem. **What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** While working with backup integrations in AWS, Morpheus Data provides usage of stored procedures & credentials in its platform. This reduces the complexity involved with accessing the AWS resources as all the IAM roles and policies are defined in their utility. We can also provide specifications on runtime for our external systems without interrupting our tasks which is helpful. This eliminates the need to rebuild the plugin every time we do modifications to the user credentials and this feature saves a lot of time. ### 2. This software's features are very helpful for managing the company data easily from any perspective. The most thing which I like in this software is that the way of software by which this advises us on the based on data analysis according to the data which we give it is perfect and helpful for us. **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** Morpheus cloud management system is best for data management and analysis, but it needs high bandwidth connection and also its interface is very bad. A man that hasn’t any basic knowledge related to this software cannot use it easily. **What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** Morpheus is the cloud management system and this software handles data, manage data, and deal with companies data in all aspects. In this software, we give all the company data and by this data, this Morpheus software organizes, manages data, and makes decisions for our company growth and production. We managed to unify our cloud platforms and optimize resources **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** EDUARDO S. | Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2020 **What do you like best about Morpheus Data?** The integration of the platforms was an arduous process since we have various platforms and there are many related processes that are carried out from digital platforms, Morpheus has allowed us to optimize response times to requests and reduce costs by considerably reducing intermediaries and the redundant procedures, the benefits we have obtained have been clearly noticeable, in addition to improving the experience of our users, the number of daily requests has been increased, as well as the automation of many processes. **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** Morpheus is a very complete platform, but it is highly complex, so an adaptation process is necessary, so the learning curve can be a bit long if you do not have the basic knowledge for its operation, the creation of an infrastructure turns out to be a complex process and takes its time, so it would be ideal to simplify it and make it more fluid. **What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** Many of our departments had delays in response times, due to the high degree of requests received daily and the little staff willing to attend to them, the information traveled through a large number of hands, which delayed the process, in addition to making it more expensive, with Morpheus We managed to automate many of those processes and unify cloud platforms, managing to improve response times ### 4. I used another tool built by the same people (Happy Apps) so I thought it would just be a good enterprise solution for monitoring and logging my apps and clouds. I was pleasantly surprised to see that not only that it had a slick UI, it did way more. We can provision pretty much instantly, managing access and user rights is super simple and apparently, it solves cloud lock problems we're having. We haven't gotten into that too much yet though. **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** It took a little bit longer to set up than sales told me but it was still WAY faster than what I was expecting. It took about 3.5 hours to get completely up and running. **Recommendations to others considering Morpheus Data:** Show it to a broad group of people in your org so you can get more use out of the product. **What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** We get automatic monitoring and logging and that's what I was most interested in. I also use it a lot to manage compliance issues. Shadow IT problems are becoming less of a pain too. ### 6. All of the tools I need in a single platform makes it easy to back-up and monitor all my systems. It streamlines operations for enterprise DevOps team and reduces cost. The seamless integration with Salesforce and access to information based on roles are two great aspects that come from Morpheus' open framework. Lastly, the full documentation and resources on morpheusdata.com makes it easy to answer questions that pop up any time of the day. Their online presence is very strong and they are quick to respond on social media or by email. **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** It seems like every time I find a bug or area for improvement, I can reach out and see it fixed or updated. They are a quick working team. **What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** Every business is watching the bottom line. Allowing teams to manage their clouds from a single portal streamlines IT and business processes. Any amount of streamlining can bring savings to your team in time and money. For IT teams, Shadow IT can be a major headache when it comes to taking control of your systems. Morpheus let's IT leaders gain full visibility over every application on your data center. This cuts down on the patchwork of tech within a business and gives you control. ### 7. I think it might be the fastest CMP installation I’ve seen. We tried a competitor (won’t name them here) but they took months to finally get configured correctly. Morpheus is fast and easy, I couldn’t ask for more. **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** Morpheus might not be the most well-known vendor in the space, which worries me a little bit. It seemed like a small operation, so although the customer service is spot-on, I worry where they might be in 10 years. **What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use a ton of containers, and Morpheus is the only CMP that I know of that can run Docker on Bare Metal. That was a huge selling point for me. The main benefits have been a savings of time. We’ve cut time spent messing with cloud migration / orchestration in half. ### 8. From searchable logs, to automated backups and seamless cloud management, it’s just too easy. And I love that Morpheus has never called to sell me more software. **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** While the dashboard is easy to read and very clear, I think it could add some additional information. **What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** We run a large ecommerce company that has lots of infrastructure, from a technology standpoint, so we were looking for a CMP to help minimize wasted resources and time. The benefits have been huge. Never before have we been able to develop without a lot of the headaches that come from other vendors like being locked into a cloud ecosystem. ### 9. It’s like they actually use their product, instead of just making something to sell. I love how Morpheus does much more than just cloud management. With this one platform, I can orchestrate, deploy, check costs, search logs, and never worry about backup or disaster recovery again. It’s amazing! **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** The customer support is just meh. It should be more effective. **What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used Morpheus to deploy 80 VMs without any problems. We’ve been customers for just under a year and have already made our money back on this one. Love that they added HyperV. That’s going to save us a lot of money. ### 10. Their team was incredibly friendly and the entire deployment process took less than a day. When we had some feature requests, they immediately started adding new features to the platform and they were available with the very next release. I can't say enough about Morpheus. And they don't try and nickel and dime you with other add-ons. Because Morpheus is truly agnostic and not a massive software company with other products, they don't try and push us to use more than we need. **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** Not sure if this is a complaint or not, but I'd love the ability to see my infrastructure with some kind of drag-and-drop interface. **Recommendations to others considering Morpheus Data:** Write down every need / question you could possibly have, and then set up a demo and prepare to be impressed. **What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cloud Migration Agnostic Cloud Management Monitoring Logging App Lifecycle Management ### 11. It’s not just cloud management or logs and backups. By switching to Morpheus, we were able to eliminate 4 other software products. Each one of those products cost more than Morpheus by itself. Seriously, such an amazing product. **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** Some of the icons are a bit funky, not sure I’m in love with those. **What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our business has to be lean. We’re a smaller company (25-50 employees), so every executive is asked to run as lean an organization as possible. Morpheus helps one DevOps engineer do the job of 4. It’s been great so far. ### 12. I don't want to be upsold on a bunch of products from VMware and Microsoft. Morpheus is built for end users. It has everything we were looking for (CMP, Orchestration, tons of integrations, rapid deployments) and it works. **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** In the future we'd like to white label Morpheus and use it for some of our clients. I'm hoping Morpheus will build out some kind of additional dashboard that will let us manage usage for our clients, instead of just our one instance. I've been told it's in the works, but we'll see. **Recommendations to others considering Morpheus Data:** Give it a try. **What problems is Morpheus Data solving and how is that benefiting you?** Speeding up deployment was our #1 ask from the CTO. They’ve really just thought through everything with this product. I love it. **What do you dislike about Morpheus Data?** If there’s one thing I dislike about this product, it’s the fact that I don’t see any way to visualize the infrastructures I’m creating.
