Filling Results, Air trap & Weld line predictions, Short shot possibility, Pressure details, Sink Marks depth are most helpful results & reflect similar to the actual one. These results can use to optimized Mold Design & Manufacturing at very initial stage.

**What do you dislike about Moldflow?**

Some time Warpage Results not matched specially Magnitude (Value) of warpage. However,  It is giving a idea about Warpage direction.

Moldflow is a Great Tools for prediction results at very initial stage. Its results l.e. - Filling Results, Air trap & Weld line predictions, Short shot possibility, Pressure details, Sink Marks depth are most helpful results & reflect similar to the actual one. These results can use to optimized Mold Design & Manufacturing at very initial stage.

Air trap, Sink Marks, Short shot, Weld line optimization, Tonnage, Flow Marks concerns can be solved by using Moldflow. Main benefit of Moldflow is that Molding Problem can be solved well in advance by using Moldflow. It is also helpful for Mold Design.

Very user-friendly, and tutorials are well documented for reference.

**What do you dislike about Moldflow?**

It is an extremely expansive software and scientific knowledge is needed to being able to use this software.

I used it to simulate plastic flows before I physically built the mold for the injection molding process.

**What do you like best about Moldflow?**

1) we can review the Cad using Moldflow Advisor for DFM 
2) We can update the Process Settings parameters for DOE 
3) Moldflow Insight 2021 release gives more details insight on Sink Marks for aesthetic looks  with the actual Parts
4) Capturation of more complicated features using various meshing techniques  
5) Gate Design Flexibility 
6) Warpage results are also closed to reality if proper material & cooling channels assigned.

**What do you dislike about Moldflow?**

1) Volumetric Shrinkage results could be more enhanced as it is not much flexible & closed to reality in my opinion 
2) How to decide the correct Injection time using Molding  Window need to be discussed.

**What problems is Moldflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems which i m solving are mostly homeappliances parts of Refrigerator & Dishwashers 

Modflow helps in predict 
1)analysis of filling pattern, which I observed in Drawer & Cover body of a refrigerator by predicting the correct gate location 
2) the Part thickness used by the designer should be used or not in future analysis 
3) We have given the suggestion in tooling for the drawer parts (in one Snap) as it is failing in Warpage

**What do you like best about Moldflow?**

User interface, how the software's predictability helps understand potential problems and to address them beforehand, clear cut presentation-style imagery. The accuracy of the software helps us re-assess and make decisions prior to tool modifications.

**What do you dislike about Moldflow?**

Though I am still learning, I think the software could be more intuitive to first-timers in helping point out most sought after mold-flow parameters (sinks, voids, peak temperatures etc) as well as provide short footnotes/tips as to how they can be improved.

**What problems is Moldflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Moldflow to design complex parts (made through injection molding) for the ergonomic devices industry on a regular basis. Even if we don't use it directly, we request Moldflow analysis from suppliers and analyze it for improvements.  A major benefit as mentioned above is the predictability/accuracy of the software to show potential pitfalls so that we can address it before moving forward with tooling changes.

The ability to visualize the flow of material inside the the mold. Using colors to indicate the more concentrated areas are very useful during the finite element analysis.

**What do you dislike about Moldflow?**

No dislikes. It is a very good software.

Try it. It has everything you need for your molding manufacturing purposes.

**What problems is Moldflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding what areas are best for material injection. With moldflow I was able to clearly identify the best molding process for plastic components. Was able to deliver detailed reports on the entire process. Even easily created alternate option to the same process describing the pros and cons of each.  The ability to visualize the air pockets generated at.

**What do you like best about Moldflow?**

The Moldflow interface ,which is most friendly with others modelling software's  for data exchange.
Result Interpretations  that can be easily understands by all involve design and manufacturing team with resp.projects.
Warpage determination for radial as well as X,Y,Z direction more likely close with actual one.

**What do you dislike about Moldflow?**

Mid plane meshing features need to be improved.

Assembly handling options are to be added like mask & Unmask for particular component.

USE IT FOR COMPLEX & ROBUST DESIGN OF ANY PLASTIC COMPONENT FOR FINISHED PRODUCTS WHICH IN FURTHER PROVES BETTER CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

Confidence  to manufacture a any type of critical mould and most probably  we can solve a lot upcoming defects in design stage etc

Additional  cost for tooling and some easy or known products or like products we can manufacture tool directly

**What problems is Moldflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to manufacture  difect free product most probably  and if we want we can use some  different  ways to feed plastic in the tool. And also it give perfect requirements relating  to tool size machine size temperature strengh of the product and possible  defects and to eliminate them

Intuitive and visual, is quite easy show the results to the customers even with a low technical knowledge

I miss some helps that coukd be useful , as example to create a 3D model with the max deformation of piece

The way and configuration to export the results, including the possibility to use the Moldflow communicator

The "manual" configuration of the cooling systems. Its very difficult to import the real cooling channels

**Recommendations to others considering Moldflow:**

Its better to simplify the 3D part in order to accelerate the calculation. You will need information about the process (machine and ohter parameters) to get better a feasible results.

It avoids us to see injection problems before we produce the mold

The analysis results are accurate and help in understanding of the flow of plastics which is something new. Along with all this the interface is pretty direct and once doesn't need much guidance understanding the software

**What do you dislike about Moldflow?**

While working with undercuts sometimes the software takes too much time which I think natural although sometimes it could be very irritating.

Watch videos first rest all is pretty simple

I was working on snaps and with the help mold flow I was able to reduce the number of iterations to achieve the best possible result

1) Able to understand if recommended material grade will fill properly. 
2) Understand part shrinkage and weldlines

1) Warpage analysis is still not up to the mark and most of times leads to wrong interpretation

Moldflow helps us to design a part which is almost perfect. And most of the times, no rework is needed.

As a basic user, I don't find much problems. I just read sand analyse the results with the experts.

The biggest benefit is saving time. A part is almost perfect when it's developed.

I liked the moldflow user interface because its super easy to operate and I can perform the simulation works smoothly.

To name one thing, I would say the speed of simulation. It may be improved.

simulation of flow filling and the position precision of the welding lines.

**What do you dislike about Moldflow?**

I believe that it can improve the time division of the animation, sometimes it is a little difficult to stop in certain quarters.

It is possible to provision the injection pressure, although it is not accurate to give an approximate idea.  the welding lines in cosmetic parts help us in the development to align with the customer or seek other means optimizing without engineering changes in the tooling.

I am not sure there are things to be disliked unless you are inefficient or input is wrong. Honestly I cannot dislike anything on this.

Advisable to used this , having experienced reasonable outcomes from my input I find it to be quite satisfactory.

Hot spots in the mold was found and the injection point was changed. So i was able to find the weaker spots in design.

Analysis Run time in 3D  &  No standard feed systems in the Autodesk Moldflow library having the same would reduce the time in study file preparation the goes it .
