"Excellent Tracking, Reminders, and Sequences That Streamline Follow-Ups"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I rely heavily on the tracking and reminder system, and it’s been excellent for making sure I never miss a follow-up with either prospects or current clients. Having clear visibility into exactly who opened my emails is a real game-changer. On top of that, the sequences feature lets me manage mass targeting without having to do everything manually, which has noticeably streamlined my day-to-day workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

The biggest missing piece for me is the lack of native call recording in Google Meet. I’d really like to be able to share the actual video file from our meetings alongside my written recaps, because it would be much better for team coaching and for keeping everyone aligned on specific deal details. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks, Sylvia — really glad to hear it. Tracking, reminders, and sequences working together to keep a large pipeline moving without anything slipping through the cracks is exactly what we built them for, and it's great that it's lifting your response rates too.

On native Google Meet recording — you're not the only one asking, and the reason makes sense: having the actual video alongside your written recaps would help a lot for team coaching and keeping everyone aligned on deal details. I've passed it along to our product team.

"Reminders and Sequences Keep My Follow-Ups Effortless and Fast"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

The Reminders feature has genuinely saved me a lot of grief in my day-to-day work. It’s extremely easy to schedule follow-ups, which helps ensure nothing important slips through the cracks, especially during the busiest phases of a project. The Sequences tool is another major plus, since it lets me send targeted email blasts to our stakeholders in minutes instead of spending hours on them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

The biggest drawback for me is the complete lack of a native iOS app. Because of the nature of my work, I’m often on construction sites or traveling between offices, so having to rely only on the desktop browser version feels pretty limiting. It would be a real game-changer to manage my active sequences and quickly check reminders from my phone while I’m on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks, Scott — this is great to hear. Reminders and sequences taking the busywork out of follow-ups so nothing gets buried during your busiest stretches is exactly the kind of relief we want them to deliver, and it's good to know they're saving you real time.

On a native iOS app — that's fair, and your situation makes the case well: when you're on a site or moving between offices, being tied to a desktop browser is a real limit. Checking reminders and managing active sequences from your phone is the kind of thing that should just work on the go. I've passed it along to our product team.

"Great for tracking investor and supplier outreach"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

What I like best about Mixmax is that it makes email outreach much more measurable and strategic. I use it to track emails sent to potential investors, suppliers, and other key contacts, and it helps me see who is engaging and when. That makes it much easier to gauge interest, prioritize follow-ups, and focus my time where there is real appetite. It fits naturally into my workflow and has been very useful in making outbound communication more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

One downside is that if I want to track whether attachments are being opened, there is a risk that the email could be blocked or flagged. Because of that, I avoid using that feature even though it would be extremely helpful for my workflow. It is a valuable capability in theory, but in practice I do not feel fully comfortable using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks, Terrence — I really like how you're using Mixmax. Tracking outreach to investors and suppliers so you can see who's actually engaging and put your time where the real appetite is — that's exactly the strategic, measurable outbound we want to enable, and it's great that it fits your workflow so naturally.

On attachment tracking — that's a fair concern, and a thoughtful one. Tracked attachments route through a link so we can tell you when they're opened, and on some stricter mail setups that can raise a flag, so I understand why you'd hold back when the recipient is an investor or key supplier. The trade-off you're weighing is real. I've passed it along to our product team, because making that capability feel safe enough to actually use is the whole point. In the meantime, if you'd like, our support team can suggest setups that lower that risk — reply here and we'll follow up.

"Intuitive Interface and Smart Automation That Streamline Email Campaigns"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

The interface is remarkably intuitive, which has been a major benefit in my day-to-day technical sales workflow. Even when I’m managing dozens of active email campaigns at once, I don’t feel overwhelmed or disorganized. The automated recipient name population feature is also a huge time-saver, especially when I’m uploading and working through lists of leads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

My biggest frustration is deliverability. I’ve noticed that some of my outreach emails—despite being genuinely professional—still end up in recipients’ spam folders. It would really help if the platform offered more granular, actionable guidance on how to avoid triggering those specific spam filters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks, Sherman — really glad the interface and automation are pulling their weight in a high-volume technical sales workflow. Managing dozens of campaigns without feeling buried is exactly the bar we're aiming for, and reclaiming hours a week is the best outcome we could ask for.

On deliverability — that's a real frustration, and a fair ask. Landing in spam despite professional, legitimate outreach usually comes down to a handful of fixable things (sending domain setup like SPF/DKIM/DMARC, warm-up, send volume and pacing, link and image ratios), and you're right that we can do more to give clear, actionable guidance inside the product. I've passed that feedback to our team. In the meantime, our support team can walk through your specific setup and spot what might be tripping the filters.

"Powerful Tracking with Easy Setup, Needs VPN Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I find the live open tracking notification framework and the historical performance analytics to be the most powerful assets of Mixmax. These features allow me to analyze engagement patterns over time, which helps in fine-tuning outreach timing and adjusting prospecting strategies based on real recipient behavior. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

The main limitation is how Mixmax interacts with VPN users. When a recipient uses a VPN service, the location tracking becomes highly unreliable and skews our geographical data, which slightly reduces the location-based insights we would otherwise use for contextual personalization. "Excellent Email Engagement Tracking for Perfectly Timed Follow-Ups"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

The visibility into email engagement is excellent. I rely on the tracking to see exactly who is opening my messages and when, which helps me time my follow-ups perfectly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I’d really appreciate a native feature that lets us record Google Meet calls directly within the platform. Right now, we can only send written recaps, but being able to share the actual video recording with my clients would be a huge help for project clarity and smoother team handoffs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thanks, Mancal — this is great to hear. Tracking who's opening your emails and when is exactly the kind of visibility that makes follow-ups land at the right moment, so it's good to know it's helping you stay on top of your outreach.

On native Google Meet recording — that's a thoughtful ask, and the use case makes sense: sharing the actual call recording for project clarity and cleaner handoffs is a real step up from written recaps alone. I've passed it along to our product team.

"Mixmax Makes Tailored Sales Outreach Easy with Powerful Analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

Mixmax is definitely optimized well for a sales role for outreach to a tailored line of recipients. In my role I utilize it with specific lists tailored to a certain demographic of customers that would require follow ups or outreach with new information for our companies product. Certainly a versatile program that offers incredible analytic data to help me decide how to tailor a multiple email campaign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

The one critique the I would have is adding a feature in the recipients category where you can easily build folders of receipts saved to your account, and easily remove or add induvial contact records before sending out a campaign. It may exists and I just haven't figure out that process yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Thank you, John, for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear Mixmax has helped you run targeted, multi-territory outreach more efficiently, while giving you the analytics needed to refine your sequences and make smarter campaign decisions.

We also appreciate your feedback on recipient management. Making it easier to organize saved recipients and update individual contact records before launching a campaign is helpful input, and exactly the kind of feedback that helps us improve the product experience.

Thank you again for your review and for being a Mixmax customer.

"No Contenders. The super fuel behind your Gmail campaigns."
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

The templates with forms and expanded links is my number one use. I love the continuity it offers my users. One template for the team keeps things consistent and easy. Holidays, birthday cards, client questionnaires and more.

Quick forms in the email saves a recipient a step. It's like having an assistant built into Gmail. The expanded links makes my emails more visually engaging than a simple web link. No more wondering who opened my messages. Tracking let's me know when a second touch or call is required. The chat window keeps your team in focus. There is now an AI assistant to help you set up your sequences/automation. MixMax is your hardest working staff member. 😄 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

No cons so far. Been using it for almost a decade. They are responsive to user feedback and upgrade requests. New tools have arrived on a good schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hi Stef — thank you for this review. It’s genuinely one of the best we’ve seen.

Love how specifically you described the workflows: team templates for consistency, forms to qualify clients in a single email, and expanded links to make messages more visually engaging. That “one step instead of click → site → distracted” problem is real, and it’s exactly why we built those features into Gmail in the first place.

Also appreciate you calling out tracking for knowing when a second touch is needed, team chat for staying aligned, and the newer AI assistant for sequences. And thank you for sticking with Mixmax for almost a decade. That kind of long-term trust means a lot to us.

"MixMax has been very helpful with my Technical Sales role"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

I really like how user-friendly it is. Even with so many email campaigns in my account, it’s easy to stay organized and I never feel confused.

I also appreciate that when I add an email address to a campaign, the recipient’s name automatically populates. It’s a very efficient use of my time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I’ve noticed that some of my recipients aren’t receiving the emails in their inbox, they’re ending up in their spam folder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hi Armie — thanks for the review.

Really glad Mixmax is helping you stay organized even with lots of campaigns running, and that the personalization (like auto-populating recipient names) is saving you time in your technical sales workflow.

On deliverability and emails landing in spam: that’s an important callout, and we take it seriously. Spam placement is usually driven by a mix of sender reputation, authentication setup, list quality, and message content, so the fastest way to diagnose is to look at a few concrete examples. If you can share a recent campaign and a couple affected recipient domains, our support team can help you audit things like SPF/DKIM/DMARC alignment, sending patterns, and sequence settings, and suggest adjustments to improve inbox placement.

Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback.

"Mixmax helps me with my pitching game!"
5/5
What do you like best about Mixmax?

Without Mixmax I wouldn't be able to tell which pitches are getting attention. It doesn't just tell you when someone opens your email, but also when they click on different things in your signature or email. I have tried other tools, and Mixmax is by far my favorite. I love the Mixmax Reminded folder it creates inside my Gmail, too, so if I get distracted I can go back and follow up to the pitches that I need to.

One more thing is that it alerts you when someone opened you email 3 times so you can follow up - one of my favorite features!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mixmax?

I don't think so but I am sure they will come up with something. They always work on improving. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Nate Punzalan of Mixmax

Hey Heather, thanks for the review!

Love hearing Mixmax is helping your pitching game, especially the ability to see not just opens, but clicks on specific links in your email and signature. And I’m glad the Reminded folder + reminders workflow is helping you get back to the right follow-ups even when you get pulled in ten directions.

Also, totally with you on the “opened 3 times” alert. That’s one of those small signals that’s incredibly actionable in real life.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this, and for sticking with Mixmax.
