As I am using this product from last 6 years I am very much happy with the features that SQL provides some of them are:-
1. SQL is best for managing data in the relational forms so that the data integration and consistency maintain properly.
2. As SQL supports most of the data types like (int, char, varchar, float etc..) which makes developer life easy to integrate with and application and language.
3. SOL also provides the bulk insertion and extraction of data and also supports the different data source like excel , notepad and all..
4. SSIS and SSRA are the best and ever green feature of the SQL. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not have much complaints on dislike about the product .But just wanted to highlight one observation
Error handling mechanism can be much better so that the developer can get to know exact issue in SQL scripting.
Because most of the time SQL compiler not showing expected error message and no suggestion as well.
This is the only one I would like to highlight in dislike section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Microsoft SQL Server is a long and well established database product that provides complete relational db possibilities for integrating into cloud, web, and windows projects. In addition it's connectors have the ability to relate to the full microsoft ecosystem of products which comes in handy setting up power platform apps, workflows, and sharepoint sites. microsoft has taken great pains to continually improve performance, indexing and integration abilities over the years. The product enables us to provide best in class relational database management capabilities to all over our client's websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
it is large scale so if you are looking for something lightweight for smaller websites it is probably not for you. it also takes some learning curve and is helpful to have a dedicated admin in full IT environments. however this can be overcome by the wealth of information available out there due to it's longevity as a product. It is a powerful relational database that projects a sophisticated scope in the analytical areas of each document or in the information sources of a particular department, highlighting that I love its flexibility to an environment that is easy to use and understand once that its servers are installed on a platform, logically being one of my favorite aspects in relation to the system, mentioning that it maintains extraordinary access for users and its proper administration in general areas, since they are very simple in their entirety. One of the most outstanding nonconformists of this system is related to payments for its support, which is somewhat incoherent, in which most similar systems proceed to establish these free services, highlighting that it is a very nefarious quality, since on occasions it tends to fail frequently, and requires the use of its support, being a very high economic commission, when it comes to constant use, without excluding that you must acquire more capabilities for generating reports. Helpful in performing database operations. The scripts for CRUD operations are built in which saves some time
It is faster compared to other database tools I’ve used Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is quite slow for huge data operations which includes multiple joins and multiple conditional statements. Not much disadvantages as such Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that the suggestions offered when I begin to type a column, table, or database name within a query, etc.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have experience with other SQL programs, so I have nothing to compare to. However, there is nothing I currently dislike. I have been using this for work for over 2 years now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It contains various functionalities that are quite necessary when carrying out work development on this platform, we can mainly highlight that the user interface is very easy to use, which facilitates the configuration of our environment in large quantities, I like this sector of the software already which is quite colorful and innovative, offering the necessary information for a very convincing development, mentioning that it is quite striking, in other aspects, it should be noted that it does not need additional storage when changing our workstations, allowing to manage data in an extraordinary way. This software simplifies security configurations towards other platforms, which can be annoying since it can sometimes restrict access to these other integrated systems for greater ease, which is a large-scale flaw, causing a low work performance when implemented in the digital servers of a company, in other relevant aspects the price of the business version could be a little lower in the same way its licenses, which should be more understandable. Microsoft SQL is highly technical and has a steep learning curve for new users and it is also harder to manipilate cloud data than on-premises data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Let me start by saying, I am NOT a SQL developer, however I'm a business systems/data analyst that uses SQL on a frequent basis so take this with a grain of salt; I have used Heidi SQL, a little bit of Toad and primarily this. So far, I really like MS SQL mostly because it's just easy. Anytime I have an issue with a query, I can google and find out and those queries always work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I do not like is that when I used Heidi SQL which is mysql I believe, it had group concatenation, so when I wanted to use HAVING and GROUP BY it was a lot simpler. In MS SQL you have to do a subquery or a more complex option. Again, as an analyst, not a developer, I need this to be as easy as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Microsoft SQL is easy to install and manage. Creating and Managing databases is straight forward and can be manages by SQL scripts. Even person without database experience can use Microsoft SQL. The performance is faster and I would definitely recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None. I like everything about it and how it works Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
it has management, tuning, modelling and debugging functions, it has all the features and functions I need. It has very good documents I can look up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is too powerful for junior database guys to use advanced tools. and it has long learning curve to master the tuning skill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
