We found that it was a complex tool and required a lot of engineering before it could be used properly. Any attacker can attempt to log into a business microsoft account from their own network. So our company took a stance on this and did its best to put in conditional access for authentication - this was done through Defender for Cloud. Once this was in place, if odd login attempts were still attempted towards a privileged account, such as the CFO, the Defender for Cloud was able to track where the logins were coming from. This helped us to stay on top of brute force attacks and to monitor if an account was ever compromised. ### 26.
