We have made inbound and outbound policies for email filtering and Defender is doing a fabulous job on this. It protects us against fraud emails, Phishing attacks, and any suspicious links or documents shared by our internal users to external or external to internal or internal to internal as well. It has a whitelist feature that we can use to whitelist our trusted vendors and users. It is very easy to set up and use. Its integration with other cloud platforms like Mimecast is also very easy, you just need to make a connector and it will accept that feature. For any query, you can contact support with just a few clicks and they are very supportive of this.
