I really like the prompts that Mentorloop Mentoring Software asks when creating an account. They help align what I want out of a mentorship with what I'm looking for in a mentor, making sure I get matched with someone well-suited. I also find it really easy to communicate through the platform. The chat feature is great because it offers a good form of communication when you're first partnered up with a mentor, and it's better than the back-and-forth emailing. I like how Mentorloop Mentoring Software makes it easy to connect with mentees. It has a chat function and private loops for tracking notes and setting up meetings. I appreciate that it lets me view when both the mentee and I are free to easily set up meetings. It also empowers mentees to take meetings and follow up on notes and actions. I find it intuitive to use. I value the ability to write session notes and have them privately sent back to the university, which helps in flagging problems early. I think there's a lot of emails that come out of the app. And sometimes the app is slow to load up, so I think there's some sort of functionality improvement potential there. I use a MacBook Air, maybe it's not super compatible as it would be with Windows. I'm not sure. I use the Mentorloop Mentoring Software as a social connector, allowing both mentees and mentors to interact, share ideas, and even give kudos based on activity progress. It's easy to use, and I appreciate the recognition tool, which lets me celebrate my mentees' progress, achievements, and commitment. Mentees can also recognize their mentors, and you even get a badge for specific behaviors that you can post on LinkedIn. I like how I can update my profile anytime in terms of availability, expertise, and interests, while mentees have their profiles to explain what they are looking for. My company doesn't allow me to set up integrations to Outlook or Slack so I am unable to take advantage of those integrations, which I suspect are very helpful.
