There are very less performance related issues with the MaxDB. The offical documents and guides for MaxDb provide crisp clear information regarding installation, day to day operations and troubleshooting required for issues related to MaxDb. MaxDb is available for free with no costing which helps to reduce the overall infrastructure cost. **What do you dislike about MaxDB?** MaxDb is not used much traditionally on critical SAP systems which should be one of the priority to imporve and optimize MaxDb database to manage very large and critical SAP Workloads. **Recommendations to others considering MaxDB:** If anyone is looking for archiving the data and for efficient management of archiving data then maxDB is the best database to choose and use for archiving the data. **What problems is MaxDB solving and how is that benefiting you?** Currently using MaxDb for content server management and archving. MaxDb has helped in efficiency managing archving data and improve SAP system performance which has helped the clients to save costs and reduce the archving data related issues by a huge margin. ### 4. Using DB in big size is also a challenge. **Recommendations to others considering MaxDB:** In general organizations uses MaxDB for less application may be due to awareness and uses. Also there are may other databases in packege are offered.
