MacBick Labs and Interiors Reviews & Provider Details

MacBick Labs and Interiors is a WOSB-certified built environment consultancy specialising in the biological and neurological performance of research, clinical, and laboratory spaces. We developed the Lab BioScore assessment framework — a structured, evidence-based methodology that evaluates any interior space across ten biological pillars: light quality, air quality, materials toxicology, acoustics, circadian flow, thermal comfort, water quality, biophilic design, ergonomics, and EMF & radiation. Each pillar is independently scored 0–100. The final BioScore reveals precisely how well — or how poorly — a space supports the physiology and cognitive function of the people inside it. Our Heal Labs division applies a trauma-informed lab design overlay to the BioScore framework, designed specifically for healthcare, clinical research, and care-adjacent facilities. Trauma-informed design recognises that built environments directly affect nervous system regulation, patient compliance, and staff retention — and structures every spatial decision accordingly. MacBick serves research institutions, healthcare networks, biotech facilities, and corporate lab operators seeking to close the gap between how their spaces look and what those spaces are doing to the people inside them. Clients receive a pillar-by-pillar breakdown, a prioritised intervention roadmap, and a certified BioScore that can be used for institutional reporting, facility compliance, and longevity architecture planning. As a WOSB-certified firm, MacBick is eligible for federal set-aside contracts and GSA schedule procurement.
