"Smooth on-prem-like transition, but label differences make validation labor-intensive"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Loftware Cloud?

We like that it also seems to allow the same functionality as on prem. We were using automations to allow for file drop to work with our own backlog software. This eases the transition, allowing us to keep using the same workflow and give the opportunity to change to cloud workflow when we are ready. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loftware Cloud?

Nothing specific yet. It is like any new software/platform: It takes some time to get used to.

We were told that the version difference would not impact labels. However we found out that some labels do change filed/placheholder size slighlty. Due to our immense label amount and complex label reality it is labor intensive to check and validate each label. WE are already in contact with support to see if this behaviour is somewhat predictable. We went from Nicelabel 19.2 Build 5339 to CLoud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlining Compliance Through Cloud-Based Labeling"
5/5
What do you like best about Loftware Cloud?

Centralized Label Control – A single cloud platform to manage label templates across multiple plants or locations, so there are no more version-mismatch issues.

ERP Integration – Smooth integration with SAP, Oracle, and other ERP systems via API, which helps reduce manual errors and improves automation.

Regulatory Compliance – Very useful for industries like healthcare, pharma, and manufacturing, where barcode standards (GS1), UDI, and traceability are critical.

Reduced IT Overhead – No heavy on-prem infrastructure, plus automatic updates and better security.

Role-Based Access – Strong governance overall: business users can design labels while IT maintains control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loftware Cloud?

While Loftware Cloud provides strong centralized control and solid compliance features, the initial configuration and integration can feel overly complex. Getting set up and migrating templates from legacy systems often requires significant effort and a high level of technical expertise. Licensing and subscription costs may also be a concern for mid-sized organizations, particularly when scaling the number of users or printers. More intuitive UI improvements, along with more flexible pricing options, would help streamline adoption and further enhance the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Label Management and Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Loftware Cloud?

I like Loftware Cloud's intuitive design and the reliable support that helps us whenever we run into trouble. It's thanks to close cooperation with the Loftware team that we were able to make a smooth integration between our OT automation and their Loftware Cloud services. The software is easy to navigate and handles countless printing jobs for us every day. Loftware Cloud provides us with a reliable printing solution that lets us print and label various products in our factory line. When IKEA desires a change in the label, it's easy to update our database and push through the change without any stops to the production. Additionally, Loftware Support made the initial setup very easy, helping us with any issues we faced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loftware Cloud?

If I had to mention something it would be that with the IKEA solution we use, many settings are locked away. This requires us to contact support whenever we need to adjust a part of the solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless ERP Integration, Challenging Setup"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loftware Cloud?

I like the ability of Loftware Cloud to integrate with our ERP systems and the cloud database. This integration allows us to print labels directly and in real time, following a specific workflow, which is crucial for our operations. We need certain steps or transactions to be completed in our ERP system before printing the labels, and Loftware Cloud supports this requirement well. The database integration capabilities made Loftware Cloud the right choice for us when we needed to standardize and offer a single solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loftware Cloud?

Setup was not easy. We had to figure out the connection configuration for Oracle, which was not easy, but we ended up figuring it out at the end with the help of Loftware support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Data Management, Needs Modern Label Design"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loftware Cloud?

I appreciate the flexibility of Loftware Cloud in handling different types of databases, from simple Excel sheets to complex SQL databases. This flexibility allows us to manage thousands of data records in one place and use them seamlessly across various departments like QC, shipping, and production. I find Loftware Cloud stores thousands of data records and uses them across multiple label templates with accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, the initial setup was easy for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loftware Cloud?

I think the label designing feature in Loftware Cloud is a bit outdated. It could benefit from more modern and easy design options, similar to what's available in Adobe software, like having tables, drawings, and measurements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Scalable Enterprise Labeling for Complex TechOps Environment"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Loftware Cloud?

The centralized cloud management allows for seamless template standardization across all our global manufacturing sites. The robust integration with our existing ERP environment has significantly reduced manual data entry errors and improved our technical auditing efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loftware Cloud?

The initial configuration and migration from our legacy on-premise drivers were more time consuming than anticipated.

Additionally, the pricing structure for seat licenses can be a bit rigid for our smaller regional teams, though the enterprise support is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slow and Unreliable with Familiar Design Interface"
1/5
What do you like best about Loftware Cloud?

I find the cloud aspect of Loftware Cloud useful, especially for its potential to centralize label design for use elsewhere. I also like the licensing of printers, which is quite handy for my needs. The MS Word-style designer stands out to me because it is friendly-looking and familiar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Loftware Cloud?

The cloud aspect is very slow and unreliable. Connecting a database to a label is painfully slow. Designing a new label in general is slow, with the program regularly locking up and sometimes fully crashing. Loftware Cloud's restrictions and slowness make it fragile.
