What do you like best about Lansweeper?

Lansweeper offers a solid and comprehensive inventory of IT assets and enables a quick overview of the existing infrastructure. The reporting functions are also fundamentally helpful and provide a good basis for audits, license management, and security analyses. In the on-premises version, the solution is mature and offers many features that deliver real added value in operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lansweeper?

The cloud version, in my view, is not mature and is not being developed further with the necessary quality. At the same time, the on-prem version is hardly being expanded functionally, but is primarily provided with bugfix releases. However, new errors regularly arise, which overall gives the impression that stability and quality are not sufficiently ensured.

The cloud and on-prem environments also do not work together cleanly. The sync does not function reliably and especially not bidirectionally, which leads to inconsistencies and additional manual effort. Central functions are missing in the cloud that are present in the on-prem version. Additionally, data inconsistencies between cloud and on-prem repeatedly occur, which severely affects the reliability of the solution.

The support is also inadequate, inquiries are often not resolved satisfactorily, and problems remain partially or are only incompletely addressed. Overall, the impression arises that the quality of the solution is continuously declining.

Currently, I am very dissatisfied with the development and the delivered quality of Lansweeper overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lansweeper?

I like the ease of upgrades with Lansweeper; they’ve made it quite easy to upgrade the systems with just one button, which means I don't have to worry about it. I also appreciate the ability to integrate it with all devices and track all devices on my domain. The initial setup was very easy with no issues encountered. Their support is amazing—whenever I contact them, they’re very quick to help with any issue, although I haven’t had any issues myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lansweeper?

What do you like best about Lansweeper?

I have known Lansweeper since around 2012 and have already implemented it at various companies. I love and appreciate the software very much because it finally provides an overview of the IT infrastructure. This is extremely important for handling and security. It is a brilliant inventory of the entire infrastructure. No more Excel cheats that are outdated as soon as they are saved.

What do you like best about Lansweeper?

Reports, and the SQL database.

The API connection allows a lot of automation's and a lot of additional steps.

The ease of use is high and it was easy to install, just ensure you set up SNMP correctly.
