ClearPolicy Reviews & Product Details

ClearPolicy is a compliance documentation tool built by Laconic Company LLC, an independent software company based in Missoula, Montana. Designed specifically for churches and nonprofits, ClearPolicy focuses on what small organizations actually need: simple, affordable policy acknowledgment tracking without enterprise complexity. ClearPolicy lets administrators upload or create policy documents, send acknowledgment or signature requests to staff and volunteers, and track completion in real time. Key features include a rich text document editor, PDF upload and Google Drive import, electronic signatures, document versioning, group-based assignment, automated reminders, and a full audit trail with signed receipts. The core value is legal defensibility. When an incident occurs, organizations need documented proof that people were informed of and agreed to their policies. ClearPolicy provides that paper trail — timestamped, IP-logged, and exportable — so administrators have the receipts when something goes wrong.
