I really value the regular meetings with the CSM, the support team whenever I run into issues, and the overall ease of use of the platform. It’s very easy to set up and use, and it integrates smoothly with our pre-existing Microsoft infrastructure. There’s also a large range of features, including Phishing Simulations, Security Awareness Training, the Mod store for training content, Users & Group editing, and easy-to-access reports covering past, current, and upcoming training. We have training scheduled to go out every quarter, with automatic phishing simulations released every month. I log on to KB4 multiple times a week to monitor the training and phishing activity, and to pull reports when they’re needed for Board meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about KnowBe4 Security Awareness Training? Two things I don’t like about KnowBe4 are related to phishing simulations and support. When running phishing simulations, I’m unable to filter by application. For example, we don’t use Google Docs, but I have to go in and exclude those templates individually instead of simply filtering out that app so they don’t appear in the simulations. Because of that, the simulations can become too obvious and get reported or ignored, unless I spend time going through thousands of results and excluding all the ones we don’t use. The other issue is with support tickets. When you create a ticket, they ask for the “Requester Country.” I enter United Kingdom, but I still get assigned American support. That usually means we only manage about one email per day back and forth due to the time difference. You can ask the American support staff to transfer you, but that really should happen automatically based on the requester country, so it feels almost pointless to ask in the first place. We have now switched to monthly trainings for all of our staff. So far it has been received well. Also looking at KB4's Cloud email security to see how it compares to Abnormal AI. We utilized the platform for law enforcement, courts, and IT for CJIS training. Before that, we had (2) systems to handle formal security awareness training and a state platform for CJIS SA training.
