We launched kintsugi around the same time we launched new invoicing software and we had a lot of issues. It felt like the size of our organization was a learning curve for kintsugi. Things have much improved now that we have gotten over the hurdles from the beginning. Lack of netsuite integration or ability to upload transactions manually. I understand the netsuite api is on the roadmap but it would be great to be able to quickly upload sales transactions via a csv or manually until that is ready instead of requesting the Kintsugi team to upload them. Kintsugi simplifies a very complex and time consuming process. I am used to working with platforms that are marketplace facilitators, so when I wanted to grow my website more, I had no idea everything that went into taking care of sales tax on your own. I am able to take back more control of my business and not have to worry if I am missing something as we grow. It was so easy to integrate with my boutique via Shopify and the process has just been seamless so far. the main show stopper for us is that their Colorado tax rates are calculated by zip code and not roof top which is a show stopper for us as CO is our home state and puts us at compliance risk. We've been with Kintsugi for several months now. The best thing when we first started was that they were able to onboard us with almost all 50 states we hit nexus with simultaneously with ease and frankly everything has been smooth sailing from there. They are connected to our Shopify, and we just approve the filings each month/quarter. Simple as that. Literally Sales tax filings are just one thing we don't need to worry about anymore.
