I like the scalability and the many different use cases for Progress Kemp LoadMaster. I can deploy multiple load balancers to help keep services available, and add load balancing for new application services with just a few clicks. Creating new services or load-balancing algorithms doesn’t take much time. I also like the different load-balancing features and being able to customize the web application firewall to my organization’s needs. It gives me peace of mind that my critical web application services stay available without end-user disruptions and are protected by the firewall features. I find the Progress Kemp LoadMaster admin UI a little difficult to use. When I open the web UI, there are so many buttons and things to do that it can feel overloaded. I appreciate Kemp LoadMaster for its ease of implementation, robust yet easy to use features, seamless integration and affordable price point. I primarily use it for application delivery in an on-prem environment, where I have a high-availability setup to ensure reliability and minimize downtime. It seems very fast and efficient to me. The interface is also simple. I appreciate the feature of conditional rules to differentiate traffic on different servers and the ability to limit the number of connections for DDoS protection.
