I use Jenzabar One as our primary database, student information system, retention system, and student app. I appreciate how it helps us connect all our data across systems and consolidates it in one spot. One of the things I like most about Jenzabar One is that it’s truly an all-in-one platform, you can manage your entire campus from a single system. I love that Jenzabar One talks to all departments across our campus. Before implementing Jenzabar One we had several different systems in place that did not communicate, and it was not an easy flow. It is user friendly, and the financial portion of the program is easy to use. I like the fact that you can upload invoices into the Invoice Creations page so you can go paperless. I highly recommend Jenzabar One. The implementations were easy and the Jenzabar implementors were great to work with. They made sure everything was correct and in order before we went live. I use several sections of Jenzabar One but mostly the Accounts Payable section. The only thing I do not like about it is when you have to void check for any reason, when you void the check, the invoice gets deleted as well. So, if you have a customer whose check is lost and you have to void it, you cannot just void the check and reissue the payment for the invoice. If you're an end user trying to get up to speed with Jenzabar’s system, the Learning Portal is a pretty solid resource. I’ve had the chance to explore it, and overall, it’s user-friendly, well-organized, and offers a mix of different materials to help you learn at your own pace. One of the best features of Jenzabar One is that it is user friendly. The system is customizable to satisfy unique needs of an institution. It integrates with a variety of outside systems making it easy to offer faculty and staff solutions that work with the system. The most challenging things about the system is that many of the canned reports need customized in order to use efficiently. Customizations can be difficult and time consuming to get completed.

Jenzabar Support is the best of any products we use on campus! We moved to J1 back in 2022 and are now using J1 Web and we love it. We also use JRM and have seen enrollment go up by about 15%. We are using J1 JICS and JICS Mobile Web, but are moving to the JICS Mobile app to get virtual ID cards. J1 Desktop is good, but J1 Web is even better and use it with DUO MFA and it is secure on and off campus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The cost of Maintenance is high, but worth every penny! When we went to J1 it changed and maintenance on our J1 products is more reasonable now. We have access to everything just by paying the mainteance on the new product area like chatbot or retention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
