The API is extremely easy to implement into my projects. I primarily use it to geolocate users on contact forms so I do not have to ask additional questions. It is incredibly easy to use by simply passing along the IP address and your API Key and in most cases, it will return a JSON response. Very rarely does it not return a response based but in those circumstances, the user is usually using a VPN. **What do you dislike about ipstack?** On occasion, it has taken longer than usual to return a response. I mostly have regarded this as heavy traffic to the server. There has also been some rare instances where the incorrect city would be returned during testing. for example my IP address would occasionally show a larger nearby city compared to where I am actually at. **What problems is ipstack solving and how is that benefiting you?** When users submit contact forms, I want to capture as much information as I can without having to ask a ton of questions. For instance, I ask for name, email, phone, and the user's message. Using ipstack and my server's ability to capture the IP address used when submitting the form, I can gather additional geolocation details to have an idea of where the user is submitting from.
