What do you like best?
Ingrid cloud is super easy to use and incredibly fast! The meshing of the model is completely automated and you're not required to tweak anything but select your desired level of accuracy (paying accordingly). As soon as the simulation is converged, you get an email alert so you can give a look at results directly on the website or download raw data in a format that is compatible with Paraview. What do you dislike?
You do not really know how the model is parameterized as well as you have very limited possibility of setting it (at least for now, as they are evolving very fast). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you like best?
The programme allows smooth import of models from several CAD software (more types coming). Input of wind data and model orientation is simple, and it is thus quick to start a simulation. The computing time is short, even for big models, thanks to cloud computing. E-mail alert when finished. Output is illustrative, and useful for presentations to laymen customers. What do you dislike?
The output is shown for 4 levels, but only in X/Y plane, which makes 3D analysis difficult. I also miss a simple cost-free model test before starting the simulations, and an estimate or progress bar. Currently (expected development?): no indication of turbulence, limited options for direction arrows, and no/limited possibilities to pick X/Y/Z planes or 3D-views for output.
