The basic architecture of the array is what impresses me about 3 par. The architecture is in such a way it gives us data availability even with multiple disk failures(more than 2) which are part of one pool(CPG).

We are using HPE 3PAR storeServ 8200 for both our file level and block level storage. I really love the amazing compaction ration provided by HPE 3PAR. Some of our disks have compaction ratio above 25:1, which is super amazing. You can definitely look for around 75% reduction of storage footprints.

I was trying to look for what kind of threshold monitoring i can do using the web console for hour HPE 3PAR. Though it covers most of the essential threshold alert settings, i was looking for things like CPU overheating, block corruptions. 3PAR Management Console now been superseded by 3PAR StoreServ Management Console, which is a web-based administration tool. It brings a slew of new functionality and API's as well has having the look and feel of HP OneView.
