## About BuyVPS
BuyVPS provides KVM virtual private servers from its own hardware in Amsterdam and New York. It is operated by HostingWay B.V., a Dutch company serving customers since 2002, which owns the machines and manages the hypervisor itself rather than reselling capacity from a larger cloud. The platform runs on its own network, AS202649, with IPv4 and IPv6 address space allocated directly by RIPE. Fourteen plans run from 2 GB to 192 GB of memory across three lines: Standard, High Memory and Dedicated CPU. Every plan gives full root access from first boot, your own kernel and the option to upload a custom ISO, on AMD EPYC processors with ECC memory and NVMe storage in RAID10. Traffic is unmetered, there is no setup fee, and any plan can be cancelled monthly. The price is identical in Amsterdam and New York, so the location is a technical choice rather than a pricing one. What sets BuyVPS apart is that it publishes measurements instead of adjectives. The benchmark page carries the median of five reproducible runs for 4K random IOPS, pgbench transactions per second and iperf3 throughput, naming the providers measured against.
