## HomeNet Reviews
  ### 1. Do not choose Homenet unless you have no choice.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about HomeNet?**

It is adequate. We used it for 3 years, and it got our inventory from our DMS to our syndication partners.

**What do you dislike about HomeNet?**

Green Wave Electric Vehicles wishes to cancel its HomeNet and SnapLot subscription at the end of this billing cycle. This is a product that we have used for 3 years, and I have been absolutely horrified at the level of customer service that we have received during the process of getting our second location set up.
Let me recap:When I reached out to HomeNet support to get a second location set up, I first received no response. Then I received a response that said I needed to fill out a sales form and wait 3-5 business days to speak to someone. I am an existing customer. I should have been able to speak to someone that same day, or the next day at the latest. It took several days to get a meeting to speak with a salesperson, and I found the pricing to be ridiculous - practically doubling my cost in order for HomeNet to receive an extra column in the feed and forward that on to our website and syndication partners. I moved forward because I thought it would be the most efficient and competent way to achieve what we needed. Then it took days to get implementation set up. And when we implemented the feed, I told the implementation specialists to keep all of our syndication feeds in place for the vehicles in our new location. None of those syndication feeds were set up, so all of our vehicles in our second location disappeared from our website and from all the auto classified sites. Moreover, all the pictures on our vehicles that moved to our second location were removed, and I was told that I would need to fill out a sales inquiry form to purchase SnapLot for the second location.  This last piece was so infuriating that I immediately got my DMS provider and website provider to bypass Homenet and set up their own syndications; the entire process took 2 business days.HomeNet is an adequate program, nothing more. The service that Cox Automotive provides to HomeNet customers is mind-blowingly inadequate. As a dealership owner who pays hundreds of thousands of dollars to Cox Automotive every year for products and services, I am disgusted.

**What problems is HomeNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HomeNet helps take inventory from our DMS to our website and our syndication partners. It also has snaplot, which helps get vehicle pictures up.

  ### 2. Great Vehicle Inventory Export Tool, but thats all it does

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kyle b. | executive manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2023

**What do you like best about HomeNet?**

It is very simple to use. Anyone can really dig right into it without any training it is easy to figure out. It also works all the time it never crashes. Its the cheapest solution for inventory export in the auto business and integrates well with any other software

**What do you dislike about HomeNet?**

It became outdated for what we use it for. We needed a tool that could set global pricing rules, and compare us to our competition. With homenet you had no visibility on competetions prices. Also Generating vehicle descriptions isnt automatic.

**What problems is HomeNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Homenet did our inventory export to third party sites and our own dealership website. That was all that it did for us before switching to vauto. It allowed us to upload vehicle pictures, descriptions, vin exploded data like color, transmission, interior materials and also to set the price of the vehicle.

  ### 3. Homenet is a tool that needs updating.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam D. | Sr AM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2022

**What do you like best about HomeNet?**

The ease of use in uploading photos and billing services.

**What do you dislike about HomeNet?**

The lack of support and ability for Homenet to fix issues.

**What problems is HomeNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None bc the support is totally lacking and needs more advanced support reps.

  ### 4. Homenet is a daily tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy A. | S, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2022

**What do you like best about HomeNet?**

The ability to hold a large amount of inventory and make it easy to filter and locate what I am looking for. I use it daily and makes my day-to-day life easier.

**What do you dislike about HomeNet?**

It constantly signs out on apps like digital lot, causeing me to have to reset everything. Also wish that the overall layout looked better which could also help with workflow

**What problems is HomeNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Auditing is easier with Homenet, locating inventory is alot easier as well. I am able to generate a report easily for my team without having to jump through hoops

  ### 5. Super customizable and fantastic customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arthur B. | Digital Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2021

**What do you like best about HomeNet?**

It is a toss-up between customizability and customer support. We have saved countless hours of manual editing by programming custom data conversion to conform data. We also build and apply custom vehicle descriptions using the data conversions. Since we are able to edit this as the end-user, it has also saved a ton of phone calls to support.

With that said, whenever we do have a technical question or need to set up a new service with another vendor, Homenet's support is always amazing and goes above and beyond to help me solve my problems. I know many of their support team by name and many of them have been there before I was even in the industry.

**What do you dislike about HomeNet?**

I wish that Cox Automotive would give Homenet more resources to continue developing its tools. I feel like a lot of their development focus goes to vAuto instead which is ok, but I prefer Homenets' tools.

I wish the Automotive OEMs would feed their complete data sets into Homenet for more complete VIN explosions but I suspect that is an OEM issue more than Homenet Issue.

**Recommendations to others considering HomeNet:**

Be sure to get training on the data conversion tool. Also, take the time to set up custom inventory views so that you can quickly zoom in on different sets of vehicles quickly.

**What problems is HomeNet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inventory management is super easy with Homenet. Homenet syndicates to pretty much everyone and you can customize each export individually. You can manage photos, descriptions, videos and more. The ability to program data conversions without having to contact support gives me greater control and allows us to streamline our inventory management.
