HistoIndex FibroSIGHT Plus Reviews & Product Details

FibroSIGHT™ Plus is an advanced diagnostic tool developed by HistoIndex for the precise assessment of liver fibrosis in patients with Metabolic Dysfunction-Associated Steatohepatitis (MASH). Utilizing stain-free Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) and Two-Photon Excitation Fluorescence (TPEF) imaging technologies, it captures detailed tissue structures and collagen fibers without the variability associated with traditional staining methods. At its core, FibroSIGHT™ Plus employs qFibrosis®, an AI-driven algorithm that automatically quantifies multiple fibrosis-related collagen parameters from SHG images. These measurements are integrated into a continuous numerical index, the qFibrosis® value, providing an objective and detailed evaluation of fibrosis severity across the entire spectrum of the disease. This continuous scale allows for the detection of subtle changes in fibrosis over time, enhancing the monitoring of disease progression or response to treatment. To support clinical decision-making, the qFibrosis® value is further categorized into qualitative stages that align with the NASH-CRN fibrosis scoring system, offering both clinical relevance and improved resolution for tracking disease progression or treatment response. Key Features and Functionality: - Stain-Free Imaging Technology: Employs SHG and TPEF imaging to visualize liver biopsy samples without the need for staining, reducing variability and enhancing consistency. - AI-Driven Quantification: Utilizes the qFibrosis® algorithm to automatically identify and quantify multiple fibrosis-related collagen parameters, translating them into a continuous numerical index. - Continuous Fibrosis Measurement: Provides a continuous qFibrosis® value that captures both the severity and spatial distribution of fibrosis, allowing for more nuanced insights into disease status. - Alignment with Clinical Scoring Systems: Translates the qFibrosis® value into stages corresponding to the NASH-CRN fibrosis scoring system, facilitating clinical interpretation and decision-making. Primary Value and User Benefits: FibroSIGHT™ Plus addresses the need for a standardized, objective, and precise method for assessing liver fibrosis in MASH patients. By eliminating the subjectivity and variability inherent in traditional histological assessments, it enhances diagnostic confidence and enables the detection of subtle changes in fibrosis over time. This capability is crucial for early intervention, personalized treatment planning, and effective monitoring of disease progression or therapeutic response, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes.
