I use Harmonic as an engineer at a venture capital (previously) and growth equity firm (current). I appreciate that the data coverage is top tier, and I benefit from their API and bulk data delivery. Most unfunded companies aren't in databases like PitchBook, so Harmonic is my best option due to its superior coverage and accuracy compared to competitors. Their data is simply the best, and I also think their support staff is excellent. I typically use Harmonic to discover companies, and their rich and accurate firmographic data is vital for me. I love Harmonic for providing the best venture data out there. I've benchmarked their data on founders and found it to be deeper and more up-to-date than anywhere else. Their early-stage funding data also stands out as being better than anyone else's. Harmonic helps us find more founders early, track other investments, and gain insights on competitors. The initial setup was insanely easy because they did a lot of it for us. Overall, it's great and I don't have much to complain about. I'm very likely to recommend Harmonic, rating it a 10 out of 10. It is table stakes when finding opportunities in Venture. Everyone uses it and has one of hte most powerful search engines out there. Super easy to tuse although it takes some time to set up. It is pricey but you need it. Quite a lot of hanholding at first to get used to it. Lots of integrations too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
