"Strong Expense Controls, but Recent UI and Security Changes Slow the Workflow"
3/5
What do you like best about Happay?

Happay helps us centralize and manage fleet-related expenses efficiently. It offers useful features like the ability to add comments for every transaction, which improves clarity and record-keeping. The platform has relatively low downtime and is easy to implement, which made onboarding smoother for our team. We also find the corporate card controls and tracking features helpful for monitoring spending. Additionally, it supports digitalization of cash expenses, reducing manual processes and improving overall expense visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Happay?

We use Happay for fleet expense management. While the platform was previously efficient for our needs, the recent updates have made the overall experience less user-friendly. The new UI feels unfriendly and less intuitive, making routine tasks more time-consuming. The mobile app update also feels like a downgrade, with reduced smoothness and usability compared to the earlier version. Additionally, strict security steps like automatic logout after 15 minutes of inactivity and OTP verification at every login add repeated interruptions that affect day-to-day workflow.

KYC has also become more difficult than before, creating unnecessary friction during onboarding and verification processes. Support experience is another concern, as there is no dedicated relationship manager, and most issues are handled through a general call center, which often leads to longer resolution times and less personalized assistance. Overall, while the platform still serves its core purpose, these recent changes have reduced convenience and efficiency for operational use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Extremely Poor Post-Sales Support Experience"

What do you like best about Happay?

UI is good and easy to use. Overall product is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Happay?

Everything apart from the product experience has been disappointing. There is no dedicated relationship manager, and support is handled remotely from Mumbai with no personal assistance when issues arise.

Our company’s expense management login was suddenly disabled due to incomplete KYC, but this was never communicated to us proactively or in a timely manner. We only discovered the reason after speaking with multiple people following the account freeze.

It has now been over five months, and our account is still not reactivated. The lack of proper support, accountability, and timely resolution from the Happay team has been extremely frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Travel Management with Minor Currency Hiccups"
4/5
What do you like best about Happay?

I like that Happay makes managing employee travel expenses for 90 users efficient by allowing all expenses and approvals to be reviewed in one dashboard. As a Finance In-Charge, I find this process very easy and fast. The dashboard helps provide a clear view of the Statutory and Investment Audit, allowing each transaction to be reviewed in depth. Sharing the dashboard access with the auditor is seamless, letting them easily review every transaction. This setup eliminates queries from the auditor regarding travel expenses. Setting up Happay for our team was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Happay?

For international employees, Happay is quite limited as it's not able to handle transactions in foreign currency, which is a big setback. It would be helpful if Happay could support Forex transactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Expense Tracking and Approval"
5/5
What do you like best about Happay?

I like Happay's expense management system because it really helps us keep track of each expense. I can apply filters easily to distinguish the expense types, making it clear where our expenditures are going. Another feature I appreciate is the approval process, where after applying for a claim, it goes to the assigned person for approval. The initial setup was also very easy. "Streamlined Travel Management with Intuitive UI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Happay?

I really like Happay’s user interface; it is exceptionally well-designed and highly efficient. The smoothness of the UI enhances my experience, making it seamless to perform tasks such as selecting airlines and checking prices. I particularly appreciate the single sign-on feature, which simplifies the approval process, allowing me to navigate different functionalities effortlessly as both a user and an approver with the use of multiple tabs. This comprehensive interface contributes to an overall positive user experience. The integration process was quite smooth, which indicates that the setup with Happay was done correctly, providing a hassle-free experience despite minor issues. What do you dislike about Happay?

I find the approval process inconvenient as it requires me to go to the portal for approvals, which involves multiple steps such as logging in and clicking, whereas I would prefer a more streamlined process like directly approving from email. Comparing it to SAP, where the workflow is more efficient, this additional step is time-consuming and inefficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Employee Reimbursement with Seamless Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Happay?

I have been using Happay for four years primarily to manage employee reimbursement claims, and I find it incredibly helpful in streamlining this process. Happay integrates seamlessly with our accounting software, which simplifies the entire reimbursement workflow from start to end. Setting it up was a smooth process, and regular tracking is one of the features I find most useful. It's efficient in providing a complete picture of employee reimbursement claims, enhancing the ease of processing. I appreciate its thorough integration capabilities with SAP, which adds to its effectiveness and efficiency. These aspects make me confidently consider repurchasing Happay in the future, as it proves to be a valuable tool in my role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Happay?

I dislike the lack of regular Management Information System (MIS) reports in Happay. Without these reports, it's challenging to track how many transactions have been processed and how many have failed, leaving me without a clear overview of transaction outcomes. "Streamlined Expense Management, Needs App Improvements"
4/5
What do you like best about Happay?

I appreciate that Happay enables us to provide food vouchers to our remote workers, allowing them to save on taxes for daily expenses, much like our in-office employees can. The capability to reload wallets easily and track employee expenses through the mobile app is highly useful. Employees have access to features like checking wallet balances and downloading bills for reimbursement, making the expense management process efficient. This ensures our remote workforce enjoys similar perks without added hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Happay?

I find the mobile app to be very buggy, often requiring me to log in repeatedly, which is cumbersome. Unlike many banking apps that provide the convenience of using a four or six-digit PIN, fingerprint, or face ID, Happay lacks these streamlined login options. Additionally, the onboarding process for employees is challenging due to the KYC requirement. Employees must complete their KYC to avoid limitations on their account, but this process involves repeatedly passing notices and urging them through Slack or emails, which is tedious. The threshold amounts also pose limitations until KYC is complete, inhibiting the ease of adding money each month. It would be beneficial if Happay introduced more workflows or smooth this process out to motivate employees to complete their KYC without constant reminders from the employer. "Life saver in terms of cash flow for MSME business"

What do you like best about Happay?

1. Hassle-free transactions with a fully automated system in place.

2. The AI-enabled part is very useful and saves our backend team time for example amount and bank details are auto-filled from the PO or copy of the cheque attachment.

3. Outstanding serviceability, means when we register an issue it gets resolved hourly basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Happay?

One thing i dislike is adding new vendors once it has been approved, then only the maker can initiate payment. This is a waste of time if someone has to approve the vendor addition once and authorise the payment again. Well, it is also frustrating for the management to log in again and again because they prefer to do it once a day. Also, it gives rise to a delay in the vendor payment by one day for any new vendors because management may not approve 2 times a day.

Suggestion: -

You may add a feature, as other banks have an "existing vendor" or "new vendor" selection and allow the maker to select that he can initiate the transaction. And the authorizer can approve both new vendor registration as well as authorise the transaction at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
