Halo Aware Reviews & Product Details

Halo Aware is parental monitoring software for tracking children's conversations on AI chat platforms. It monitors 12 platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, and Character.AI, via a browser extension compatible with Chrome, Edge, and Brave on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Instead of storing full transcripts, it generates topic summaries and sends alerts with concerning messages and conversation starters for parents. The extension is visible in the child's browser toolbar. Parents access a dashboard showing activity trends, topic categories, and timing, with flags for unusual behaviors like late-night usage or topic shifts. Setup starts on a parent's device to create an account and setup code, followed by extension installation on the child's computer. Data storage complies with UK GDPR and the ICO Children's Code, with information stored on UK and EU servers. The software focuses solely on AI chat monitoring, excluding GPS tracking, social media, or app blocking.
