I have been collaborating with Hackrate for some time as an ethical hacker, and my overall experience has been very positive. The platform clearly reflects the insight of people who truly understand how real-world testing operates. The founders are not only highly experienced but also genuinely supportive, and their approach is evident throughout the entire service. While Hackrate generally performs very well, there are a few aspects where the user experience could be improved. The reporting UI provides useful information, but it isn’t immediately intuitive sometimes I find myself clicking around to locate the specific details I need. It’s not a major issue, but the interface could benefit from a clearer structure.

The platform is easy to use and well maintained, the programs' rules are concise and straightforward. Important to mention that the team is quick to respond to triage new findings. They take not just the client but also the hackers into account, therefore everyone is happy at the end of a program.

The only downside to Hackrate is that their portal experience is not as polished as some of the better-known providers in the space.
