"If you have a teaching blog and want to include activities, H5P is going to blow your mind"

4/5

What do you like best about H5P?

H5P allows you to create classic activities for your students (fill in the blanks, drag the answer, record it in audio, crosswords...), but also other types of activities that would never have occurred to me (virtual tours, for example). They also constantly release new activities and improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about H5P?

If you create activities regularly, they can take up quite a bit of space on your hosting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"H5P is the powerful tool to create interactive videos."

5/5

What do you like best about H5P?

I am using H5P in coordination with Moodle LMS. This software creates interactive videos where we can add reflection spots questions in your own video or video from YouTube. The best part is easy to use. Not much training is required to learn the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about H5P?

There is nothing in this software to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering H5P:

Yes. Most of the education is now online due to Covid19 impact. This software must be used by all the teachers to create videos with interaction. This will create interest among students. This software is easy to use and can be installed on Moodle or WordPress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is H5P solving and how is that benefiting you?

H5P solves the big problem of delivery of video content to students. Most of the students do not watch full lecture video. They just scroll forward and do not watch it seriously. But if we use interactive videos which have inbuilt questions and we may remove forward backward scrolling option, it creates seriousness in students. Due to this, the motive of teaching is achieved. This H5P can be installed on Moodle LMS as a plugin and it is free. There are many types of questions available like MCQ, True False, Match the Pairs etc. We can get scores of the students at the end of the video. We can use our own videos or the videos from YouTube with Creative Commons license. This creates simplicity in the use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

H5P very useful software for creating videos either for YouTube or other social media platform. Its amazing features help to attract more audience for my videos. Their various tools are very useful for different types of genres e.g. health, education, entertainment, etc. I like its unique features in the way of video creating, a pop-up box can be used in between my videos. I can easily redesign and quickly edit my videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about H5P?

During using this software, I don't have issues in case of creating contents. Overall it is the best tool especially for architects. The starter package is enough for beginners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering H5P:

I definitely recommend it especially for beginners who want to create such types of creative content for your audience so you can use H5P, its starter plan will be enough for your creating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"H5P for interactive quizzing and presentations."

4/5

What do you like best about H5P?

The tool does what it sets out to do in that it excels at offering a straightforward way for users to create interactive multimedia items. Each object type includes an interactive example and documentation right within the interface which is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about H5P?

Some of the more advanced features are presented in a less user friendly way. When the rest of the platform is reasonably easy to use, these advanced features can be a little obscure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Online Interactive Activity Building for Dummies"

5/5

What do you like best about H5P?

H5P is the quickest way to build an online interactive activity from scratch. The program offers multiple formats and the system takes you through completion in a simple step-by-step process. The system also hosts an OER hub, allowing the community to build and share activities. The entire program is also open source via GitHub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about H5P?

For the activities to interact with an LMS, they are all-or-none for completion. Unlike a SCORM-type package, the H5P activity needs to be completed in a single session; otherwise the grade will not submit, and activity is not retained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is H5P solving and how is that benefiting you?

In moving towards full OER implementation, we were able to develop our own assessments and activities to complement the OER textbook. Though the initial build time was tedious, we now control all of the lessons and interactions for our students. This allows for iterations specific to our instruction, and the supplemental cost to the student is $0 for the course. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Its incredibly intuitive"

4.5/5

What do you like best about H5P?

I like the way of creating videos..Mainly the viewer's attention is so catchy. I never saw such a pop-up in the middle of videos. The informative boxes help my students a lot understand easily...You can also add choose the correct answers, fill in the blanks, false or true question types etc etc. Things can be done in minutes. Multiple types of course architectures. Go for a starter plan and that's too far enough. They provide a lot of features in that plan. H5P allows to generate flashcards and games that boost your audience's confidence,... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about H5P?

No dislikes till now.. On my feeling, it's developing a lot from the start when I see. The only thing I feel a little disappointed is auto-saving is not possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering H5P:

You will definitely feel a fun-filled experience while creating videos. Follow the guidelines they provided and it's pretty easy to build things. It's solid for platforms like e-learning, online quizzes, training, free and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is H5P solving and how is that benefiting you?

Content authorization feasibility, video editing, creating very interactive videos, embedding the quizzes in the video are top-notch. Mainly, it gives a tour for each and every new person who is watching. The platform is coded in HTML mode but don't panic, even a non-coder can also utilize things. No coding knowledge is mandatory. Just drag and drop the elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about H5P?

I like h5p, I design with code to create rich hifi prototypes with real CSS, mock data apis with basic js data binding, then quick iteration of the code with individual trips pushed to separate urls for user testing. It also facilitates the final development as the user interface is made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
