"Gearset Makes Salesforce Deployments Easy with Excellent Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gearset DevOps?

Gearset makes it very easy to deploy work between Salesforce Orgs. Gearsets support is also excellent - they respond quickly and with helpful solutions. We use Gearset on a daily basis and I'm not sure what we could do without it. We use Gearset for deploying, backing up data and performing data deployments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gearset DevOps?

It can sometimes be difficult to find all of your changes or know exactly which files to select. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A easy way to deploy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gearset DevOps?

Gearset is an excellent help for teams when it comes to deploying Salesforce metadata. Its user-friendly interface makes it accessible even for trainees and junior team members. Gearset simplifies deploying dependencies, resolving merge conflicts, and creating pull requests with Feature and Promotions branches. The documentation and customer support are consistently available to assist when needed. Furthermore, it offers straightforward integration with other tools such as Git and Ado, making the overall workflow smoother.

Gearset also has monitoring jobs and Unit Testing tools, which can help the team.

Additionally, Gearset has other licenses for Data Deployments and Clayton, which can add to the tool and help even more with seed environments, masking, analyzing code, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gearset DevOps?

Depending on the metadata involved and the size of the organization, the comparison and deployment process may encounter performance issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Great Tool for Salesforce DevOps"
5/5
What do you like best about Gearset DevOps?

I like how Gearset makes it easy to select the changes made and deploy them up through our sandbox environments and ultimately to Production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gearset DevOps?

It's honestly hard to think of something I dislike, the only thing that comes to mind is sometimes when you hit a merge conflict you can't always choose parts from the feature and the environment branches and have to choose one or the other. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The new Native Gitflow support makes it easier to group multiple feature-sets and projects into a single release branch. We can also queue pull requests in sequential order to avoid stepping on code and improve overall delivery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gearset DevOps?

There are new features around Revenue Cloud Advanced - including native deployment support - which allows drastic improvements to metadata and data migration handling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Strong CI/CD Functionality with a Polished, Insightful UI"
4/5
What do you like best about Gearset DevOps?

Lots of CI/CD functionality with a strong UI. Helps keep environments in sync and visibility into work items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gearset DevOps?

At times it has been slow though that has improved. Most of the struggles we have are more due to the salesforce Metadata api rather than gearset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
