I like the no-nonsense approach of foxyproxy. Does exactly what it advertises - switching proxies quickly based on URLs. What do you dislike about FoxyProxy? nothing much. A nice little software to get the job done. Maybe it could have a nifty little analytics interface which said which proxies worked most of the times, and hence put in some intelligent recommendations. The best thing about the FoxyProxy extension is that you can completely forget about it once you set it up. The user interface is a bit dated and can confuse new users setting up this type of extension for the first time. Now I can conveniently leave my SOCKS proxy on and rely on FoxyProxy to only send traffic through it for the domains that require VPN, leaving my other traffic to use the full speed of my network connection. Even though the service it provides is very important, I still find that FoxyProxy's yearly subscription is a bit high. The best part is that it comes as an extension and once I have setup the basic configuration it works smoothly for all my burpsuite intercepts. What do you dislike about FoxyProxy? There is nothing to dislike, it works as expected. Sometimes when you are working (penetration testing) and have to use this along with socks proxy this might be hard to configure the routing however if you understand networks it works just fine. It is a great help as during my pt assessments i dont have to go to network settings manually or no need to edit it. Just click on the proxy you need and it will start directing traffic. I am not tech-savvy at all and was always frustrated by the complicated interface of other VPNs. I found foxy proxy last week, and boy, what a difference. The interface is much more user-friendly, and after a few minutes of getting used to it, it's pretty much as easy as ABC. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a simple but wise solution.
