PlotForge Reviews & Product Details

PlotForge is browser-based site plan software that generates permit-ready, to-scale site plans from real county GIS parcel data. Enter an address and the site plan generator loads real property lines, dimensions, and setbacks in about 3 minutes — not a blank canvas or an AI guess. Draw decks, sheds, additions, fences, pools, and egress work with live measurements; auto-add existing building footprints; combine multiple parcels; and overlay USGS topographic contours for reference. Export site plans as PDF, PNG, and DXF for AutoCAD and similar tools. Every site plan includes an auto-generated permit cover sheet with parcel and vicinity maps, and existing CAD or PDF drawings attach as title-blocked sheets in one multi-page permit package. Built for contractors, remodelers, and permit professionals who need site plans for permits — no CAD skills, no surveying, no drafter. Works for virtually any U.S. address.
