I've had some technical challenges but the support has been fantastically helpful and responsive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the feature creating the object with just "a" click on the canvas. After a click, a pop-up came up for the options of the figure.

It saves massive time without swimming the mouse all around the screen to see which figure to use or where the figure window is, the drag into the position I want.

The grid system to organize alignment is just incredible.

It's the most useful because I don't need to worry about the exact arrangement of objects. Designers would understand how things get annoying when there's a half-point pixel goes wrong for one figure. The system also works with the arrows, and I'd like to give applause for that. The only downside is that the text formatting feature is restricted.

The platform standardizes how you create maps, flows, and personas relatively easily.

You can collaborate with other team members and see their updates in real-time.

Of my biggest pain points:

CUSTOMER JOURNEY MAPS

1. The SVG export functionality is buggy. Not all graphics render properly, specifically the customer sentiment emoticons.

2. There lacks customization to color some of the map headers. Apply colors is a very manual process versus a more efficient process of changing a "theme" that ripples through the entire project. If there is one, it's not clear.

3. You cannot add your own icons or technologies to it's "Channels" template. As part of mapping a customer experience journey, there are other technologies involved that are not covered by standard social media platforms.

4. The UI of this feature covers UI controls of the browser, like the scroll bar, making it difficult to navigate. How to build the map could be more intuitive.

5. Not enough export size options.

USER FLOW

1. Exporting is buggy. Some component graphics, like icons, often get cut off.

2. The placement of icons within the shapes don't make for the greatest design output.

I have been using this tool for ±2 years. I loved the interactive sitemap + editable task / user flows when it first came out. Turning what used to be a manual process into a quicker and easier process --built with the awareness of the need for constant change. Which most design tools don't cater for. I am a bit disappointed that your sitemap, which allows image uploads and copy to be added related to each screen, == doesn't allow download which includes both text and images. What formally was a quick process to create technical requirements spec-- now has become a manual process because the Word doc export option only exports text and not images.. Flowmapp is intuitive and a pleasure to use, as you would hope with it being a UX focused platform! I like the simplicity of creating elegant user flows, with the ability to perform all the actions you need, such as customisation, and documentation of your flows. As a product designer, you can represent an entire UX strategy to stakeholder with powerful content.

- You have a site map to see overview of information architecture with detail on each screen.

- You can map your personas with the individual journey which is good to represent this one by one to stakeholder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Actually this is not about dislike, unlikely but, it's will be better to grouping or summarize user pain-point with the solutions we're solving to "represent mode" to stakeholder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used a lot of user flows and ai tools before, most were done via Sketch or Figma ui kits. I found this powerful with users but I had to pass too much time updating them as the product was changing and improving quickly.

Using Flowmapp, scales this process to avoid going through same repetitive tasks.

Also, me and a project manager found out it would be a powerful tool for 1st layer of specifications. Working on a whole project/product stack with different stakeholders made this tool more than legitimate to adopt Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I miss some feature improvements ( I know they are in the backlog ;) ) as adding images in the exported doc. I also would create "sections" in the page as possible independant ones : I'm used to work with components and some can be used accross multiple pages. Identifying them would create a new dimension for the AI or flow spec Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its very intuitive and provides great final product - Personas Profile. It helps us to educate our clients about how important it is to know how does their client looks like and how to connect with him. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm a project manager in web development company. Part of my duties is to clearly communicate websites and applications structure and Flowmapp is the perfect tool for that. It allows me to communicate clearly both with clients and team members.

Had an issue with the invoice and their support solved the issue immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So far there is nothing I really dislike. Something I'd like to see is an optional interface for bulk adding or importing websites' structure. That will greatly improve my experience with the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
