Having a sharable link to provide to clients and circulate internally ensures that everyone has visibility into our work in progress and allows us to get buy in from our cross-functional team as well as any key stakeholders. The quoting feature is useful in creating proposals before work begins. We're still implementing this into our workflow, but it's quickly becoming an essential part of creating websites for our clients. Customer service is highly responsive and it's clear the team is receptive to feedback. This product is being refined and improved on a daily basis, and it's clear that the team behind it are passionate about building the best solution they can. **What do you dislike about Flowmapp?** Flowmapp is missing some functionality that would benefit our team, but customer service has been very receptive to our feature requests. It was a bit confusing at first with terminology, but the support team is fast and responsive – thanks again! We use Userflows and Sitemaps for work, for the most part, but CJM and Personas are definetely looks interesting – we'll give it some tests in the future. What really stand out FlowMapp amongst competitors is how fast we can create and update userflows according to our needs. Since the amount of work we have to do grow significantly not so long ago, FlowMapp is an absolute time saver for us. We migrate from Miro and we're looking forward to the 2.0 update and wirefame tool. **What do you dislike about Flowmapp?** Only 1 sitemap for the project, but the support team noted that this limitation should disappear in version 2.0. A better explanation of how the team's functionality works would be great. It's nothing excessive and straight to the point. It's clear and easy to read, and enjoyable to use. **What do you dislike about Flowmapp?** There are some quality of life improvements that can be made to sailt to the S tier of digital products: Project management could be more involved and flexible, there could be more ambitious native integrations between other applications (like more/better integrations with Figma, Slack and ClickUp/Jira) and more. However, we expect much to improve and change with 2.0 around the corner. Adapting user flows to also support more complex UML diagrams could totally own that market - it seems like such a small step to take to involve backend development with small integrated teams. **Recommendations to others considering Flowmapp:** We know of no other service that sets out to achive what FlowMapp achieves and that does so better. I am currently a UX Design student, and this program is suggested by my academy for my assignments. I tried other free programs but found FlowMapp to best suit my needs. It is simple and has the features that I want. **What do you dislike about Flowmapp?** An area of improvement for FlowMapp is to offer more customizable color themes. The current color palettes are rather limited. Ideally, I would like to see a color picker that I can use from another image or program like PowerPoint so I can better match the color to my presentation. **What problems is Flowmapp solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used FlowMapp for creating my user flow. I found that it is easy to add and change the placements of the shapes. The simple interface quickly allows me to create my chart. ### 33. The biggest draw was the sitemapping features. It quickly lets you add, move, and edit pages and sections, even for a fairly large site. The ability for team members and/or clients to participate in a conversation per page is also a plus. **What do you dislike about Flowmapp?** There are some features I'd like to have, such as the ability to have more than one sitemap per project. This web app has excellent UX making it easy and fun to use. I love the Site map where you can create your individual pages and plan what content will be on those specific pages while allowing your client to view and collaborate with you clearly identifying each page goal. This application actually helped me win a big contract because the client really loved the Personas feature where I was able to create their client persons based on their Google Analytics Traffic. The user flow feature is also great for planing the customers journey and I'm looking forward to using if for planning my lead funnels. **What do you dislike about Flowmapp?** That I can't export a sitemap to an xml file. **Recommendations to others considering Flowmapp:** Go for it. I've tried many others and this one was the only one I found that included, sitemaps, user flows and Personas. In the absence of a more sophisticated commenting tool I like that we can export an image of the site map or even better generate a PDF that has the copy and the site map. We can then send it to a customer for them to pinpoint specific edits for us to make and also save it to our files. **What do you dislike about Flowmapp?** I wish there was a way to allow a customer to comment directly on the Site map that was shared with them. The Site Map process takes some time to get used to. Using a specialized tool can kickstart the creative process. The ability to add sitemap pages into user flows means that by the time you're done with one, you're nearly done with the other. It's a surprisingly effective pairing, and allows thoughts and ideas to flow freely between them. The tool itself is quite simple to use, and has just the right amount of customization for my needs (and not much more, which is ideal for quick, iterative work). **What do you dislike about Flowmapp?** There's little I don't like; but as someone who's accustomed to certain keyboard shortcuts and UI behaviors in modern design software, I end up making little mistakes as I'm navigating these documents. I can then easily take that content and use it to build their new website. **What do you dislike about Flowmapp?** The only difficulty I've had with FlowMapp is switching to their free plan when I'm not using their service. After a client provides me everything I need I usually archive their project and then I don't need FlowMapp until the next project. They used to allow switching to the free plan and then upgrading to the paid plan when necessary. But somehow they've made that process more difficult. **What problems is Flowmapp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Clients used to send me their sitemaps in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, by email, and even on pieces of paper that they would then take a picture of and email me! Almost no learning curve. It includes everything you need to get started with product design. Once you create a project, you pretty much see a giant editor and only 4 tabs (personas, user flows, sitemap, and CJM), which makes it impossible to get lost, and you see everything you can do in the site all in one place. It's easy to switch between tabs whenever you want. Additionally, creating user personas is a breeze. Not only do they provide templates to get started, but you can also edit it however you want. **What do you dislike about Flowmapp?** When creating user flows, it's often helpful to have placeholder images (like wireframes) to represent certain stages of the flow at a glance. These kind of things make a huge difference, and I've seen similar platforms provide it. If flowmapp provided stills of common wireframes (login, profile, settings, etc) that can be drag and dropped into steps on the user flow, it would make navigating the flows so much better. Although I understand this may get to domain specific (I'm a web developer). **What problems is Flowmapp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Trying to map out user flows for my product, as well as create personas of my target users. I want to be able to see the big picture before I start developing and designing in order to save time in the long run. While the page structure feature with the content boxes work well enough, being able to structure something as simple as the H1s, H2s, etc. would eliminate the need for using an ancillary tool like Gather Content for the content management portion of the project.
