"Comprehensive License Management, Needs Better Reporting Flexibility"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

I love how Flexera One provides amazing software usage insights that enhance data reporting with customizable dashboards. The license optimization and compliance reporting features are incredibly valuable as they ensure accurate software inventory, reduce licensing risks, and offer actionable insights. The initial setup was quite straightforward, with the documentation and the support portal being a great help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flexera One?

I find creating highly customizable custom reports to be complex, especially when I have to combine data from multiple sources. I also think the dashboard performance could be faster, and the data visualization operations need enhancement to improve overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unified Multi-Cloud Cost Visibility and Optimization in One Platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

Flexera One provides unified multi-cloud cost visibility and optimization in a single platform, making it easier to monitor spend, detect anomalies, manage budgets, and identify savings opportunities. I also like its custom policy builder, which allows organizations to create and automate governance and cost optimization rules tailored to their specific requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flexera One?

The reporting capability could be improved. There should be an option to download the complete usage-level cost file for all accounts, regardless of whether they are small accounts with low spend or large accounts with high spend. Having access to full usage data would make it easier to perform detailed spend analysis, track cost drivers, and investigate cost spikes more effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful AWS Cost Insights After Setup"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

I am using Flexera for cost optimization of my AWS workloads. Once all is configured and integrated, it provides useful insights that led directly to significant optimization of our workloads. Some of them are by default, such as the FinOps KPIs while some other need to be manually setup depending on your needs.

Once all is configured, it becomes very easy to navigate between each dashboards and get directly your insights at a glance.

Had once to contact their support, which reacted in a very effective way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flexera One?

One of the main drawbacks of the platform is the amount of effort required during the initial setup and dashboard creation. While Flexera offers powerful reporting capabilities, building meaningful dashboards is a time-consuming and largely manual process.

Each chart must be created individually, even when multiple charts share the same structure, filters, or data sources. There is no option to duplicate or copy/paste an existing chart within a dashboard and simply adjust a few parameters, such as a filter, metric, or grouping. As a result, creating dashboards with many similar visualizations becomes repetitive and inefficient, significantly increasing implementation time.

In addition, making changes later can also be cumbersome, as common modifications often need to be applied manually to each graph. A more flexible dashboard designer with reusable components, chart cloning, and shared filter templates would greatly improve productivity and the overall user experience. "Flexera One Review: Helpful for IT Spend and Compliance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

What I like most about Flexera is how it gives a clear and complete view of software licenses, hardware assets, and cloud usage in one place. It makes managing IT assets much easier by helping identify unused licenses, optimize costs, and ensure compliance. I appreciate how the platform provides actionable insights that support better decision-making rather than just collecting data. Overall, Flexera helps organizations stay organized, reduce waste, and gain better control over their technology investments, which makes it a valuable tool for effective IT asset management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flexera One?

What I dislike about Flexera is that it can be quite complex and expensive, especially for organizations that are new to Software Asset Management. While the platform offers a wide range of powerful features, configuring and maintaining it properly often requires significant time, effort, and expertise. The learning curve can be steep for new users, and understanding all of its capabilities may take some time. In some cases, smaller organizations or teams with simpler requirements might find that the platform provides more functionality than they actually need. Although Flexera delivers strong value when fully implemented, the initial setup, ongoing management, and licensing costs can be challenging for organizations with limited resources or straightforward use cases. "One Place for Licenses—Easy Dashboards and Stress-Free Audits"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

What I like is having one place to see our software licenses instead of digging through spreadsheets from different departments. It helped us to spot over-licensing before it turns into a real problem, and audits aren't stressful anymore. The dashboards are easy enough to pick up, honestly saved my team a lot of manual work we used to do by hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flexera One?

Setup took a while to get used to, honestly. Some of the reports don't let us customize much, so I still end up exporting data sometimes to fix it up myself. Not a big deal, just wishing that it will be good, if these are nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexera One: Powerful Solution for IT Asset Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

What I like best about Flexera One is that it gives a single place to manage software assets, licenses, and cloud resources. It makes it much easier to track software usage, identify unused licenses, and generate reports without spending a lot of time manually collecting data. I also like its integration capabilities with ServiceNow, SCCM, Intune etc and the visibility it provides into the IT environment, which helps in making better decisions and improving compliance. Moreover if the user has any doubt regarding the issue he can easily contact with flexera One team via email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flexera One?

Nothing because it is the most powerful tool for IT Asset Management. But if the new user is willing to learn Flexera at starting it is more difficult to understand because of its vast and robust technology capabilities, but once the user get comfortable it is more easy to use. 4.5/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

"The best thing about Flexera One, in my opinion, is the visibility it provides. It gives a clear picture of all IT assets in one place, making it easier to track software, avoid license issues, and reduce costs. What do you dislike about Flexera One?

If I had to pick one thing, I'd say the learning curve. There are a lot of features, so it can feel overwhelming at first. But that's also because it's a comprehensive tool, and with some hands-on experience it becomes much easier to use." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Software Compliance and Inventory Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Flexera One?

Flexera One is easy to navigate and well-structured, making day-to-day use smooth and efficient.

The implementation process was straightforward, and integrations with systems like CMDB, SCCM, Intune, Azure AD, vCenter, ServiceNow, and SaaS applications were seamless. It brings together license counts, active users, and usage patterns into one clear, accurate view.

The platform is packed with features that we use frequently for asset tracking, license optimization, and compliance reporting.

Customer support is excellent—responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to help—which makes the overall experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Flexera One?

Overall, the user interface is well-organized and easy to navigate, but once in a while (about once a month) the system experiences a short lag of around 15–20 minutes. While performance is otherwise good, the documentation could be improved with clearer explanations of what each detail or field means. The support team, however, has always been very responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
