The ready-made templates on EventCreate are super diverse and attractive, however I have a background in website design so I wanted the ability to create my own images and customize the theme. EventCreate was highly intuitive and let me change background images, add as many custom fields as I wanted, and change fonts and colors. The controls behind the scenes for adding and tracking attendees were also very well thought out and easy to use. I would 100% use EventCreate again and would recommend it for anyone! I had a few moments frustration with the default dark transparent overlay on my background image in the custom theme as I was using a large background image as a heading, so I didn't want any transparent overlay on top of it. Having a way to insert a large image as a header would be more straightforward than inserting a background image and then lowering the transparency of the overlay to zero, so I'd love to see that implemented in the future! For our company, active events are a big deal; at times, we can have numerous events and partnered events that make it difficult for us to run multiple RSVP links. We are definitely looking to upgrade into a paid tier (possibly personal + or Business) yet, 3 events or even 10 events is not compelling. Additionally, as the CMO, I have many paid tools in our budget. Allocating for something that has to be paid annually is less compelling to our CEO vs something that can be paid monthly.
