Symantec runs scans starting at a certain time each day which is great, however, every time a new scan begins the computer minimizes whatever windows are open and interrupts whatever work you are doing at that moment. This can happen 10-15 times a day and while I am sure there is a way to stop the interruptions, it was not available to me as a user, only to the admin who was non responsive.
