Else Reviews & Product Details

Else is an AI-based prototyping solution that enables product teams to build prototypes directly on their product codebase. The platform allows product managers and designers to create working prototypes without coding, then generates pull requests for engineers to review and merge. By installing a GitHub app on a frontend repository, Else enables prototyping within the live product, using real data, components, and edge cases. The system supports frontend and full-stack prototyping, modifying both frontend and extending backend while inheriting design systems and reusing components for consistency. Backend changes extend functionality without altering original code, exporting specifications for integration. Else integrates with GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket, and works with React, Angular, and Vue. Else generates production-ready pull requests and backend specifications, streamlining the process from concept validation to production-ready code.
