What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I like how EHS Insight can track my incident reports, handle hazard and near miss reporting, manage SDS, and conduct monthly inspections. The launch was easy and well received. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

I found that their customer service help is lacking. A lot of times, we were told and promised that EHS Insight is very customizable, and we can do what we want on it. But we found that there's a lot of things that we weren't able to do. When we worked with our customer service rep about how to fix those issues, we were told no, and then eventually, we were told yes after some pushing. I didn't like that. EHS Insight gives us a single place to manage many of our safety and compliance processes while still allowing us to customize the system to fit how we operate. The ability to track training records, maintain employee information, automate workflows, and pull meaningful reports has been a big benefit. What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

The training module could be improved by providing more robust compliance tracking. Currently, compliance is based on assigned training, which can make it difficult to identify missing requirements if training has not been assigned. What do you like best about EHS Insight?

The user interface on the phone app is top notch. It is easy for all of our employees to figure out and use regularly. It is very intuitive and customizable, able to be used no matter where are staff are located. Even for employees that are not as technologically savvy, they have all been able to figure things out to complete trainings, inspections, observations and much more. What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

Once you are up and running with the software, the support level is not as available as I would have hoped. All support tickets must be submitted by email, which often takes a lot of time and articulation, when a phone call would be a lot easier, more in depth and efficient to address an issue. EHS Insight offers this type of support, but it costs much more to access it. Overall the support received is always great, but it does take some time on the users end to email/explain everything. It's great to hear the mobile app has been intuitive enough that employees across all comfort levels with technology have been able to pick it up and run with it. Reaching a geographically spread-out workforce for training, inspections, and observations is exactly what we built the app to do, and the vendor tracking use you stumbled into is a nice bonus to hear about.

Your feedback on support after go-live is fair and worth taking seriously. You're right that articulating an issue over email takes more time and effort than a quick phone conversation would, and that friction is real even when the eventual resolution is good. We hear the underlying point clearly: getting timely help shouldn't feel like a heavier lift once you're past implementation. It's the kind of feedback that helps us look hard at how we make support more accessible across the board.

It’s easy to use and configure for our specific needs, and it’s versatile across different platforms and a wide range of devices. It also offers a robust selection of reports, along with the ability to create custom reports whenever we need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to communicate critical alerts via SMS is limited. The lack of a direct support line for urgent issues has also been a problem. What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I like EHS Insight because it keeps all of my Safety Management tasks in one place, making them easy to access across multiple devices no matter where I am. Training Management could be improved by adding a way to exempt specific individuals from training when selecting a business hierarchy. Also, the initial setup was a pain, with weekly meetings where we kept trying to explain how we needed it configured. It would have been much more beneficial to sit down with someone for a week and knock it all out at once, instead of stretching it out over multiple meetings. What do you like best about EHS Insight?

I like the customizations available in EHS Insight, which allow me to adjust the software to my company's needs. I can add backing lists, edit and create fields for all forms, and create roles to limit access. What do you like best about EHS Insight?

What I like best about EHS Insight is that it provides a centralized platform for tracking safety incidents, investigations, and compliance requirements. It helps keep information organized and allows for better visibility into safety data and trends. I also appreciate the ability to customize fields and reporting, which allows the system to be tailored to our organization’s specific processes and operational needs.

One of the things I appreciate most about EHS Insight is the support provided by their ticket team. They are very responsive and helpful when assisting with backend administrative questions or system configuration issues. Their team is willing to walk through solutions step by step, which makes it much easier to resolve issues and better understand how to manage the system effectively.

I really enjoy using the program and would highly recommend it to other customers. I also appreciate that they have a suggestions board where users can submit ideas — several of the suggestions I have posted have actually been implemented. I value that they listen to user feedback and are willing to integrate ideas into the system.

If I were to move to another role that required a safety management system, I would definitely choose EHS Insight. I even see potential in working for EHS Insight itself, as I believe the system has a lot of growth potential and continues to evolve in ways that benefit users. What do you dislike about EHS Insight?

One challenge with EHS Insight is that certain areas of the system can take some time to load, which can slow down workflows when navigating between records or reports. Additionally, while the platform offers customization in several areas, there are some limitations with workflow customization. It would also be helpful to have more control over automated email notifications. Currently, the system generates a large number of emails, so having greater flexibility to customize email flows and notifications would improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary messaging.

One area for improvement would be expanding support options, such as offering phone or video call assistance when working through backend administrative issues. While the ticket support team is helpful and responsive, having the ability to communicate in real time can make it easier to walk through more complex configurations or troubleshooting steps and resolve issues more efficiently. Although one option for phone and video support plan is currently available, it is fairly limited and can be costly. Offering more flexible support plans or service tiers with broader access to these options could better meet the needs of different organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
